Prucalopride advice.
Has any one been on
Prucalopride
and found it stopped working after a while? It was a life saver for two years for me, but everything is grinding to a halt again and the bloating is horrendous. I stopped it for two weeks and started back three days ago.

prucalopride - Tips
My Gastro has put me on
Prucalopride
2mg which I currently take each night. Have been on this a week. Bowel movements are now really super soft. Lots of narrow stools and leakage late in the day. Any tips on the best time to take this, dosage, do I need to reduce fibre. Also long term effects.

Laxido longterm use
Hi all,I've been taking 1,sometimes 2 laxido sachets daily for the past 3 months and this has helped. My gastroenteritis has suggested swapping for
prucalopride
1mg but this gives me all day stomach ache.My question is,is laxido safe to use daily long term?

Slow colonic transit
I have been taking
Prucalopride
for almost a month but unfortunately it has made no difference. My consultant has recommended I try Biofeedback therapy. I'm not sure exactly what this procedure entails.

AGA - American College of Gastroenterology Clinical Practice Guideline: Pharmacological Management of Chronic Idiopathic Constipation - 2023
Based on available evidence, the panel made strong recommendations for the use of polyethylene glycol, sodium picosulfate, linaclotide, plecanatide, and
prucalopride
for CIC in adults. Conditional recommendations were made for the use of fiber, lactulose, senna, magnesium oxide, and lubiprostone.

Prucalopride
is pretty much the best bet but, and certainly if you are in the UK, getting hold of that will be mightily difficult...will require much jumping through hoops and, likely, the assistance of an open-minded and flexible gastro specialist...Lotsa luck! https://www.youtube.com/watch?

Adverse effects of Resolor
From my my research I have discovered that the trigger of the adverse event was the medicine called Resolor (
prucalopride
). The med was prescribed to me by a gastroenterologist for my chronic constipation.

New to this Group and confused about different approaches and treatments.
I have just been prescribed
Prucalopride
for awful constipation problems.I would like to ask those who are on taking it if they have experienced any of the listed (scary!) side effects? Thank you.

Slow Transit pain and possible Nortriptyline success
For anyone who has slow transit and been on either amitriptyline or Nortriptyline, did your gastro/doctor give you any other medication to counteract this like
prucalopride
or linzess?

Hi , I’m having a baseline transit study on Friday & the consultant has let me carry on with the laxatives but has said to stop the
