Any experience with prostap side effects?
Morning, I had prostap injection on 4th January and AF arrived 9th-16th, my scan on 18th was all good but we have had to delay oestrogen tablets by one week so I start them tomorrow. Anyway I'm still spotting on and off when I wipe and having twinges/cramps in right ovary. Just wanted to see if anyone

Help, I'm on Prostap!
Hi there. I'm hoping that there's someone out there who can shed some light or who has had a similar experience that I'm currently going through. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis (originally 10 years ago but had 2 kids in between) again last month after chronic monthly pain which left me bed ridden

Period after Prostap with Mirena?
I’ve had the Mirena coil in for 3 years and still had periods every few months if not every month (question 1 – has anybody else’s periods just continued on it?), last year I had 6, monthly Prostap injections with my last one being on the 8th of November. I feel so hormonal, emotional, sore boobs, discharge

Private blood tests back- confused about what to do next, back to the GP or go straight to a private doctor?
Hello, I have just got my Blue Horizon blood tests back (appreciated the recommendation!) but not sure what’s best. I’m still getting to grips with deciphering the numbers but think my TSH is ‘normal’ but not optimal, free T4 could be higher , free T3 is lowish and Vit D needs improving. Am I best to

Prostap withdrawal ?
I had 3 months of prostap injections, last one on 13th December. From the beginning of January I have been in a very good mood, normal self. The last two days are different, I am very low. I just want to sit any cry for no obvious reason! We are getting ready for ivf (nurse appointment 12th feb!) and

Anyone else pass out while trying to *ahem* poo?
Hi there, I'm having a bit of a nightmare. I'm in the middle of treatment for Endometriosis - had 4 prostap injections, due to see Endo specialist beginning of Feb for results of MRI and to discuss surgery - I'm already on the waiting list for surgery with the Endo specialist and colorectal surgeon.

Overwhelmed by findings from diagnostic laparoscopy
I had my diagnostic laparoscopy on Friday after a long road of symptoms and initial diagnosis of PCOS in my teens. I have stage 4 with bilateral endometriomas with quite extensive bowel and bladder involvement. I need an urgent MRI to get a full understanding of the bowel involvement, I am heading

More hopeful
Hi, thought I'd share a good news story as I realise that this quest for answers is often fraught with difficulty and it's hard to keep the faith. Had a marvellous appointment with my newish GP last night, I could have hugged her for listening so well and being so proactive (almost makes up for years

FET Cycle and acupuncture, what's your experience?
Hiya, we have been for scan today and lining is nice and thin after the prostap injection, we should of started oestrogen tablets today but had to delay a week as we had a commitment on the week they were looking to transfer so we're a week behind. I've been thinking of trying acupuncture as I've found

Very Happy after consultation with specialist!!! He listened.....
Well I feel over the moon, after being discharged 2 years ago from my specialist and enduring all the procedures at the pain management clinic that didn't work I got to see my old specialist again. He was AMAZING as usually, very empathetic and a really good listener, asked me what I WANTED which is

Support and experiences of women on Prostap
I have just had my first Prostap injection (lowest dose available) and will be taking daily Livial 2.5mg tablets. I think I have Endometriosis as I have period type pain most of the month, but up to recently its been bearable. I am actually receiving the prostap for incredible mood swings and fatigue

Prostap/Lutrate - Please help - feeling frustrated and torn.
Please help. I have PCOS and was diagnosed years ago. I was referred to gynaecology due to a group of symptoms I have been having and my family history to explore the possibility of Endometriosis. Gynaecologist has refused a laparoscopy due to my weight and will not discuss my symptoms with me. Instead

Low protein diet plan for PD meds
I wish someone would make a list of food and recipes, for low protein, 5 small meals daily, so meds can be absorbed quickly. I found about 4mg protein per small meal, still lets meds get by. My neurologist is so funny, he said,"drink plenty of water when you take stalevo, but don't drink too much water
