PSA level vs vasectomy question
When I had my tubes cut, they were not sewn up or cauterized which I believe is standard practice (in states), I elected to just have a .375" chunk cut out of each of them then and everything stuffed back inside and sewn back scrotum. I did this so they would never be able to be reconnected or reversed

PSA increase nearly one year after triplet therapy (mHSPC), what's next?
Hello everyone, thank you for all your help for a year. My dad went from a high of 3103 PSA to a nadir of 44. He unfortunately couldn't reach a <1 result but it had stabilized for a few months after his docetaxel + zytiga + prednisone. Unfortunately his new result is 67 PSA exactly a year since diagnosis

Wait or start docetaxel?
Currently taking Nubeqa and Orgovyx but PSA doubling time is only 7 weeks and PSMA scan shows activity in abdominal lymph nodes, 2 vertebrae and 2 ribs. MO suggested DORA Clinical trial (everyone gets docetaxel, half get radium) but the head of a trial I was previously in at NIH feels that unless a CT

6 months after radiation
I had SBRT in September and all went well. My semen was a bit brownish at first, but now has become bloody red. I went for blood work and my PSA has dropped significantly and I do not have an infection. I’m wondering what the issue could be…seems like it would have cleared by now?

Update and about to start Radiation
Hi all - just a summary so far. Have been doing the triplet and recently finished the 6 sessions of chemo. Had my CT and Bone scans and then follow up with MO on Friday. All is as we expect - nothing shown in CT. Bone scan shows no new "uptake" in the mets places and nothing new. PSA at .41. I am

Quick follow up to PSA Bounce
RO called today and told me not to be concerned that my 1st PSA was 12 after original was 9 in March. He said that there are likely a few reasons. - remaing inflammation in prostate from treatment (I was tested 58 days after completing SBRT) -possible mild prostatitis -possible infection He said

Chemo or clinical trial?
Am scheduled for bone biopsy of met(s) from my hip tomorrow. Stopped Pluvicto after #3 due to rising PSA and progression. Hoping to get next gen. sequencing from biopsy sample and (maybe) functional testing. But, it's going to take some time to get results and I feel I can't wait. Pain has been getting

First MO visit
Prostectomy in 2017 and radiation in 2020 with no further treatment. PSMA test in November 2023 was negative with PSA of 0.14 at that time. My PSA has now increased to 0.34. I have my first visit with an MO in a couple weeks. Any suggestions or hints as to what to expect for treatments following

What next after Docetaxel...?
On 4/19/23 I was seen by the trial MO to confirm the previous recommendation of 10 sessions of of Docetaxel after the new liquid biopsy confirmed the first one with no mutations. Meanwhile, the PSA has risen to 115 before a kidney issue and to about 350 just before Chemo. On 12/06/2023, after 9 sessions
