PSA holding low after all!!
As I complained a couple of months ago that PSA could be increasing, today the PSA moved a bit down from 0.03 3 months ago to 0.01 today :-), so I needed to write a few words here about my feelings. With a warm-hearted attitude, somehow enthusiastic but foolish too, as these things are never static,

Post triple therapy options?
This past summer, I wrote because my husband's PSA numbers started doubling very quickly. (see quick recap below) By the time we got the PSMA PET scan a few weeks later, there were too many tumors in the bones to count. We jumped into triple therapy: Eligard, Nubeqa, and chemo. Lupron Question.
I have been on Lupron since June 2022. September 2023 Abiraterone and 5mg of prednisone was added. Psa was 19 in Sept and dropped to 1.26 as of Jan. 11 2024. Since going on Abi when I get a monthly Lupron shot I have trouble sleeping that first night and mild flu like symptoms the next day. I have agreed

Gleason score change from 3+4 to 3+3 with perineural invasion noted under Active Surveillance
I recently had an MRI and PSA about 11 months into Active Surveillance. The MRI showed no change & PSA has moved from 4.2 to 3.6 to 3.1. While a rectal biopsy done 11 months ago showed one core of Gleason 7 (3+4), I just received results of an MRI guided Transperineal Biopsy. The encouraging news us

Aquablation with APC
Hi there - does anyone here have experience with an aquablation procedure to improve urinary symptoms? My father is considering it. Has anyone knowledge if...
I have been considering trying 'Theraworx' for nocturnal leg cramps; it has many ingredients including vita. E though the E should be a small amount. Does anyone have any real knowledge if this product would effect PSA levels, or have any effect on the PCa...thank you

Prostate cancer
My prostate condition started around eight years ago when I had urinary track infection which also led to prostatitis. Ever since then, my PSA jumped from 2 to 7.8 during the last 5 years. I had two biopsies… first one, four years ago, they detected no positive cancer cells in my prostate. However

Bicalutamide Vs Eligard
I'm just starting my journey which will involve ADT and RT. The RT is scheduled to happen in early July and ADT to start soon. No spread according to Pet scan. Gleason 4+4 and PSA 7.9. Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever, feeling good for a 65yo. RO doesn't seem to be in any hurry. I have a few important

Still confused about PSA and Testosterone testing
I have been reading posts here for some time and there seems to be a split between those who only get PSA tests each time they go to their doctors and those that get both tests each time. I had a baseline testosterone test before Lupron and before radiation. I am now doing my 6 month follow up and

Can Nubeqa (Darolutamide) be used instead of normal ADT drugs for localized PCa?
Hi all. Australia has just given the green light to lower the cost of this so-called wonder drug from a staggering $40K (AUD) to a low $30. It seems that this drug has fewer side effects than the usual ADT drugs and from what I can gather does a pretty good job of preventing the growth and spread

Getting on with life.
My prostate has been removed, my psa is rising. I am not on medication. Basically, just getting on with life. Refusing to let this nonsense get me down. Thoughts anyone ?
