Hi there - does anyone here have experience with an aquablation procedure to improve urinary symptoms? My father is considering it. He has been on doublet therapy for 1.5 years, his PSA recently started to tick up a little. It's been difficult to get a clear answer on whether the procedure poses any risks for people who already have advanced cancer in prostate and other locations (like, will it blast/spread the cancer elsewhere?). Curious if others have gone through with this or TURP while being treated with ADP etc. Thanks!

If he already has metastatic cancer in his bones, he already has metastases in tissue reservoirs everywhere. The TURP can't add very much.
reuping this in case anyone else has gotten aquablation.
Another option would be TERP, but my dad was hesitant to go that route due to risks he’s read about. His loved ones are more concerned with inadvertently spreading the cancer further. I think both should be considered.
