Prostap, endo/adeno and FET experiences??

Hello hope everyone is heading into the weekend in just about one piece. Sending love to everyone in this horrible situation.

My endo/adeno symptoms have really started to flare again after 3 stim cycles since September. This current period and the time around the bleed has been as bad as before my excision surgery with bad sciatic type pain and bowel symptoms etc. I’m so disappointed 😢

I am therefore worried after 2-3 more cycles to try to bank embryos, the endo will be back good and proper and affect implantation at FET once again.

Has anyone had prostap before FET? Thinking I might need it to calm things down. And I am going to be taking hydroxychloroquine prior to FET anyway for 2-3 months so will have prep time. But I am worried about Prostap because:

1. My lining has always failed to develop in medicated cycles so I’m going to need a natural/low dose stims FET - so if prostap has switched me off will my ovaries switch back on for this? I already have low ovarian reserve so I guess my ovaries may be more sensitive to the Prostap effect?

2. Would the effect of the Prostap make my thin lining issues even worse?

any thoughts or experiences welcome. Thanks for reading xx

Hi. People do worry about Prostap, but if it’s the one just for a month you should be ok. Perhaps a couple of sessions with an acupuncturist will help your womb lining. Good luck. Diane

I think I’d need it for 2-3 months to switch off the endo/adenomyosis. I’ve tried acupuncture and everything else possible for my lining and they don’t help me sadly. It’s probably the impact of endometriosis medications for years and years.

hi, I had Prostap for frozen embryo transfer. I had this due to Adenomyosis, I felt dreadful for about 2 out of 3 months and while they said my lining looked good for transfer the transfer was unsuccessful. In all honesty, personality I’ll never have it again it took about 12 months for my body to get back to normal and I’m convinced it’s affected me long term - they say it can’t, but we have had 5 failed cycles following having the orostap and never achieved an embryo since.
