Should I got for IVF?
HI Guys, it's my first time commenting on this site I didn't realize how many people suffered with his awful diease. I can't believe what's happening to me. I've always suffered bad with my monthlys. Five years ago I collapsed with severe abdominal pain and haemorrhaging. It scarred me quite frankly

Can anyone recommend a specialist in Manchester or North West area?
I've had numerous surgeries last year including a laparotomy for severe endo - ovaries, bowels, pelvis, bladder, pouch of Douglas. Also got adhesions - both ovaries, colon, bladder etc etc..... Tried prostap, the pill and so on. I see a gyne in Manchester but now think that they are not sure where

Has anyone found having add back hrt makes prostap less effective?
I am on my 2nd month of prostap and was having really bad side effects so at the beginning of the week I asked for some hrt add back. I have only been on the tablets for 4 days and I am already feeling twinges in my ovaries. Do you think it is the hrt making the prostap less effective as last month after

taking the pill with zoladex/prostap??
Hi ladies, Quick question. Has anybody else been told to keep taking their pill with their injection? My consultant said that if I keep taking it, it should act as HRT and counteract any side-effects. Well I can tell you the side-effects hit me like a ton of bricks! My first injection was the Zoladex

Should prostap be working better?
I am due my 3rd prostap injection in about 10 days time. After the initial flare up on the 1st one I have been pain free for the last 5 weeks, however I started hrt last week due to bad headaches and generally feeling unwell on it. I'm not sure if it is a coincidence but my ovary and leg pain is starting

The difference between zoladex and prostap?
Hi guys, I'm due next week to start 6 months of injections to induce menopause for my endo. I'm a bit confused as my consultant hasn't specified what the treatment will be and as far as I can gather there is 2 - zoladex and prostap. Can anyone tell me the difference and also which is better? Thanks =

Does hrt help with migranes?
I am really struggling with migranes whilst on prostap. I am due my 2nd jab tomorrow but GP has said that if I get such bad headaches again next month they will stop the prostap. I have mixed feelings as altho the headaches are unbearable the endo pain is easing. Could hrt help with the headaches or

Endo and immune system
Hi. I have just had 6 months of prostap injections and did not have a single cough, cold or bug for the whole of the winter. The injections are now wearing off and I have picked up the first bug I came into contact with! i have also noticed that bugs last a few days for others but mine seem to go on

Can I change from zoladex to prostap?
Hi ladies, I have recently had my third zoladex injection and was supposed to go back to the hospital to discuss treatment going forward as this was just meant to be a 3 month trial. The hospital forgot to send me an appointment, so now I have to wait until July to see a doctor ( I called up to check

Does working or being a long time on your feet worsen your pain? And has Prostap/Zolodex side effects made it a struggle for you to work?
I was a full time support worker for disabled adults and was doing 13 hour shifts 3 days a week and was doing well until during a period I had sudden onset of pain so bad I had to go to A&E and 4 months later diagnosed with a cyst in my ovary and a year later diagnosed with endometriosis. I am now back

Conceiving after prostap
Hello ladies. I started prostap nearly 3 months ago to stop my periods and help the endo "fade", I have another 3 months of jabs left to go. How long does it take to fall pregnant when the treatment has finished? Would really love to have my first child after all the crap I've been through xx
