Prolia
For those of you that have had success with
Prolia
, how much did your bone density increase and how long did it take. I'm still trying to decide whether to go on
Prolia
or not. But I'd like to know success stories, with some numbers or at least percentage of increase. Thanks to all!

What after Forteo??
I just finished forteo, and don't want to do the
Prolia
shots or Fosamax pills. Too scary, read about too many awful side effects esp with the
prolia
. I have a Rx supplement Fosteum which is calcium, vit D, K2, and genestein. I didnt' really gain any bone on forteo, just stayed the same.

Osteoporosis
I have just joined and am interested in experiences of anyone who has been on
Prolia
treatment for osteoporosis. I have been advised to begin 60mg
Prolia
injections every 6 months. I did 3 Reclast infusions that were completed 3 yrs ago.

My dr has advised me to start
Prolia
. I am reluctant to start this treatment due to side effects. My bone density has decreased 4.5% in the last two years. Don’t think I need this. Opinions?

Getting Off Prolia
Since I can't get around well since that debacle I've been reading a lot more about
Prolia
and the more I learn the more I want to get off this drug - but no one can advise me on how to do it safely. Has anyone here who has used
Prolia
a few years managed to get off this drug safely?

HRT stories?
Of course, she just mentioned biphosphonates &
Prolia
at this stage saying I should look into it and have a think about what I want to do. I want to ask her about HRT - don't know if it's prescribed for OP treatment here in the Netherlands, but I'd like to speak to her with some experiences.

Risedronate (Actonel),raloxifene (Evista) or teriparatide (Forsteo)? Which do I choose? Experiences?
I don't want to take
Prolia
- everything about it puts me off. My preference is Forsteo (if my specialist will prescribe it - health care system is not public like NHS so options are often available), or Evista/raloxifene.

Blood tests following Thyroidectomy
The first two years of Bon Viva did nothing, it got worse, so I am now taking
Prolia
since almost 2 years. Following the operation my constant state of anxiety disappeared as well as my eye problems - Blepharitis. Currently I am in the States and return home to Switzerland in the morning.

Should I quit?
I have had one shot of
Prolia
. I think I want to stop due to back and neck pain. I’ve also experienced a funny taste in my mouth. I don’t want to take any drugs to replace and an worried I may suffer fractures. I would appreciate any advice.

Is Yoga safe?
My doctor has prescribed
Prolia
, which I really don't want to do. I've got several other health issues that I deal with, and don't want to add
Prolia
to the mix. Thanks so much for any help. Glad I found this site!

Plenty of options!
Because of a bad family incident with
prolia
(broken femur) he has rejected the bone meds. I am thinking he needs to revisit xofigo type meds. He has had prostate cancer since 2004, Gleason 9.

Stopping Prolia
I had the first shot of
Prolia
8 months ago, it went ok but I’ve read a lot since. I decided not to get the second shot. In just the last month since not taking my second shot I have already dealt with more pain then I can ever remember!!!! My bones and muscles seem to be screaming at me!!!

have had Brachytherapy and beam radiation and continued Lupron with
Prolia
to the present. My PSA has been edging up and is now at 3.2. Does this seem like a good move?

No more meds
Hi all, I have decided to go down the no medication route for a while, having had a bad reaction to
Prolia
& a daily injection and feeling so much better in myself having nothing. I do lots of walking and aerobics and have just got a referral from GP for a Healthwise class at our local gym.

New here Prolia side effects
Hello friends, I got a
Prolia
shot a week ago. My doctor said, don't read the internet about side effects, at most you'll get a rash at the point of injection. Two days later I couldn't get out of bed. I was so weak, felt nauseous, my arms and back ached.
