Bisphosphonates
I had 1
Prolia
shot in Feb with many side effects. I’m going to see a Rheumatologist to Relay me off. I can’t take any Bisphosphonates because I had Gastric Bypass. I don’t know what to do. Is there anyone out there that been on
Prolia
and can’t take a Bisphosphonate?

Increase in blood pressure while taking prolia
I was just wondering if anyone has noticed increase in blood pressure since taking
prolia
. I have recently had two readings done this week. Higher than my norm. Norm 110/72. Now 127/89 and 131/82. I wondered why then thought of
prolia
. I take no medication other than
prolia
.

Tymlos after prolia
From what I've read and from others it has good results but my
prolia
runs out in 3 months and she said I won't be taking it until after tymlos. Everything I have listened to or read says tymlos first then
prolia
and a bisphosphonate after
prolia
.

PROLIA
I had my calcium checked before the
prolia
shot. It was 9.0. I just went for a CBC and my Calcium dropped 8.5. Along with my Kidneys, Liver, and Protein. Hence I take Calcium and protein daily for 22yrs and never had them drop. Thinking

did it!!

After 4+ years of Actonel is
Prolia
a good choice for continued treatment of osteoporosis? I will be asking my rheumatologist the same question next time I see her.

Lansoprazole /Prolia
After reading Bisphosphonates by Deb967 yesterday, and then a reply from RubymyT which had a website attached, I read the review for
Prolia
which had a rating of only 2.7 of over 300 people who thought it was a good idea to take it.

Prolia injection
My consultant is considering prescribing me a 6 monthly injection
prolia
or a yearly infusion (not sure what). I'm looking to learn as much as possible about these medications in order to make an informed choice. I would appreciate any help out there. Thank you

Are endocrinologists of any help after ADT?
After ADT, my MO told me that handling things like
Prolia
management won't be in her bailiwick. I didn't ask about post-ADT SE's and recovery from same. Hot flashes, low T, BMD loss, and last not least sarcopenia. What is the community's experience with how post-treatment SE's are best handled?

to have second prolia ? Nervous
I have had one (first and only )
prolia
injection in August this year . For the first time in 3,5 months - the back pain has subsided and I feel a little more human. Jaw sore ? Does this mean that my body has adjusted and will handle the 2
prolia
injection better ?

FDA alert re: denosumab
This was issued specifically re:
Prolia
, with no mention of Xgeva. However patients should be alerted, and of course don't change your medications without first speaking to your doctor about this.
