Hi Donnad that sounds horrendous, I have heard some nasty side effects with prolia, I think the tablets are probably the best of a bad job I'm on alendronic acid did have a few side effects first few weeks with bone pain but mostly in fingers where I already have arthritis, but that did subside after roughly three weeks, I understand the injections can be worse and it's said that when you stop them the effects don't stay in your system like the tablets I'm wondering did you try tablets first, or I'm guessing your from the US maybe prolia is the norm, in UK that try us with the most cost effective which is AA but you can't put up with that level of pain you must speak to your GP I wish you luck and hope you get well soon
