After a clear CT scan and a negative Bone scan I am being offered Erleada as a next step in my 10 year battle with GS 7 and initial PSA of 150. have had Brachytherapy and beam radiation and continued Lupron with Prolia to the present. My PSA has been edging up and is now at 3.2. Does this seem like a good move?

Sounds good. Let us know how well it works for you.
Apalutamide is approved for non metastatic castration resistant prostate cancer. It could offer a significant adavantage to the progression of the cancer in comparison with adt alone.
Yes, it is an excellent next step. Erleada delayed the onset of the first metastatic development for over two years. These are good numbers.

Thank you for the encouraging responses. I will see the nurse at 10 today to see how I can afford this next step. I will let you know how that turns out
Apalutamide is ('was' as I'm now post RP) one of many medicines I consumed as part of a clinical trial I'm currently in. At 3+ months post RP, I am doing very well with (PSA <= 0.03). The clinical trial will track my health history ~2 years post surgery.
I have been on and off Erleada for the past 6 months. Great results. Started Erleada my PSA was 4.0 now 0.7. One definite side effect is hypertension. Working with my cardiologist to get it back to reasonable level. A possible side effect is numbness in my left leg and MO wants to find out if it from Erleada or lumbar disc. Just had a MRI. Will get results tomorrow.
I've been on Erleada since mid-August and haven't experienced any additional side effects yet. My PSA has gone down from 0.98 to 0.63 after the first month. My next appt is next week so we'll see if it continues to go down.
