Why isn’t body identical progesterone (Utrogestan) used to treat endometriosis? Surely it could help & less side effects than synthetic.
With the theory being that oestrogen stimulates endometriosis and
progesterone
suppresses it, why have I only ever been put on synthetic forms of
progesterone
? I’ve been on the contraceptive pill, depot provera, Mirena coil and Prostap injections.

HRT - Gel or Patch?
I’ve had Endometriosis excised as well so will be looking at combined HRT which may well be patch/gel oestrogen and pill form for
progesterone
. Thanks in advance for any experiences.

How much progesterone is enough?
I'm worried I bled early last time because of low
progesterone
levels so worried the same thong might happen again. People on here seem to be on a lot higher dose of
progesterone
than me! So is it normal to only be on 2 cyclogest a day? Thanks 😊

Should I ask for more?
Should I ask to take more
progesterone
this time round? They mentioned everything will be the same this time (we are unexplained infertility and nothing flagged up regarding egg quality or AMH, sperm factors etc) but I read a comment on another thread about changing something each time.

Utrogestan orally and dizziness/lightheaded feeling
Hello Just started
progesterone
today for a FET next week. Around an hour or so after utrogestan tablet orally (200mg) I’ve been feeling really lightheaded and dizzy. Almost like I’m drunk. Ive not had this medication before but had other types of
progesterone
for my fresh transfer before.

Lining thickness varying ?
My previous FET cycle got cancelled as my lining spontaneously reduced after starting
progesterone
on day 16. Is my lining just clumpy? And if so, is that a bad thing?

BFP after a poor quality blastocyst transfer
I'd been taking
progesterone
since the egg collection as one of the doctors I’d seen at a scan said that this was an option. So glad I did! I still can't believe it worked. My little early blastocyst looked nothing like the pictures I saw online.

If pain has stopped due to pill, is surgery still necessary?
The thing is… since my consultation, my pain has diminished to nothing, completely due yo going on the
progesterone
-only pill. I was in such agony before every month during ovulation, but now no period and no pain .

Progesterone exhaustion
I’m on 3x
progesterone
suppository per day. I’m absolutely exhausted and have been since last Sunday. So tired I find it hard to focus on a book, tv or any light tasks. I’m told to continue about your normal day but can barely function. I’m assuming it’s the
progesterone
.

Hello
I have low
progesterone
and grew up in terrible stressful emotionally abusive background. I've read that high stress = high cortisol = low
progesterone
. Some days I can't help but feel like my past is the reason for my future and I feel angry.

So confused…. Fertility rollercoaster. Do I ovulate? Any advice/ help would be great
Monday went for a scan follicle is gone, Dr assumed I ovulated so did
progesterone
blood test to confirm, but got results today and
progesterone
only 8. Nurse said it looks like I didn’t ovulate. Waiting to hear back about what happens next but a bit confused. Was it an empty folicle?

Missed miscarriage update. Pills? Op?
Last week I stopped
progesterone
and started bleeding. I really thought I’d passed, but scan today shows I still have a sac left. No Doctors can see me until Sunday due to staff Covid-shortages. I’m finding the dragging on so frustrating.
