Tired of colitis
After the colonoscopy my doctor set me up with a bag of intravenous
prednisone
which stopped the bleeding and uncontrollable diarrhea at last. Never thought I would welcome a steroid!

I've gotten
prednisone
for help, but don't want to keep doing that. 3)Also my finger tips and toes are numb and tingly. The soles of my feet are like walking on sandpaper.

My recent blood draw resulted in a jump from 0.78 to 1.29 while I was on the Aberaterone/
prednisone
protocol. I have an MO appointment this upcoming week. What might she recommend as the next step in the journey. I have not had any chemo therapy. Thanks for your input.

Embarrasing skin
I’ve been on 10 mgs of
prednisone
since transplant. I was recently lowered to 71/2 mgs. I’m also on Tacomalis and legitimize. If anyone has any ideas what is happening to my skin your input would be greatly appreciated

GCA Questions
Prednisone
. (I’ve also been on Actemra since November.) I’m doing pretty well, but I wanted to check in regarding my tapering. I’m down to 8 mg. (from 9, about a week ago), and will have stayed there 1 month when I get labs and then see my rheumy next month.

Update day 6 - Treatment fir Richter’s Transformation
Benedryl and Solumedrol by IV in addition to
prednisone
by mouth and an anti-nausea med by IV. IV fluids before and after infusion. So far so good, but nurse said this drug causes the most nausea and vomiting. Hoping all goes well, and no freaky reactions tonight, so I can go home tomorrow.

prednisone and tinnitus treatment ?
Do any of you have experience of taking
prednisone
/ prednisolone to combat noise induced tinnitus incidents? My understanding is it can be very helpful if taken within a two week window of the event.

The end ??
I have been trying to reduce
prednisone
to 3.5mg for the last 4 months. I was diagnosed 4 years ago with PMR and GCA. I was happy enough with the one to two year burnout prediction from rhumatoligist. Yes I have read all your stories and realise it may never happen.

Skin Cancer Issues
They are suggesting
Prednisone
which I am very hesitant to switch to. My father was a diabetic so I'm at higher risk and going on
Prednisone
will increase it as well and there are a lot of other side effects too that don't thrill me.

what color is your prednisone?
I’ve been taking
prednisone
forever. My 1 mg pills have always been white. Opened new bottle today, pills are beige and larger Than my white ones. Called pharmacist who insisted they are 1 mg, but by a different company.

Rheumy exam/USA major university medical system - disappointed
Tried
prednisone
, B12 - no relief. Rheumy did no physical exam. I showed her my ankles, hands & feet. She did not even listen to my heart. Rheumy ordered bloodwork & an echocardiogram. Oh, and she recorded the visit on her iPhone. This is at a major US university (Ivy League) medical system.

vertigo and tapering prednisone
Could this be do to my taking from 8-7.5 mg of
prednisone
? I’m calling the doctor’s office and chiropractor office as soon as they open up to see if they can fit me in as soon as possible. I tired to find more information on the connection of vertigo and tapering but only found a few.

The age thing...
Within hours of taking
Prednisone
, ALL pain in ALL parts of my body was gone and over the past 3 months I've regained a lot of the range of motion in all joints. My point is... do doctors have their heads up their collective butts about the age thing?
