hi everyone happy pre new year🥳 (quietly blows)

I’m experiencing a nasty tinnitus and hyperacusis increase following a noise induced incident just before Christmas. Do any of you have experience of taking prednisone / prednisolone to combat noise induced tinnitus incidents? My understanding is it can be very helpful if taken within a two week window of the event.

Try it, sooner the better. Mine got really bad and I took prednisone and it got better even though it had been 6 months. But then it came back. I also tried getting an injection of prednisone in the ear directly, didn't really work. I want to try linere or something like that.
