Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with PA 5 years ago (For anyone interested my story is online in the old Pernicious Anaemia Society site.) I haven't worked out yet how it all functions since it became Health Unblocked. After I developed PA I couldn't find a doctor who would believe me despite the fact that

Having hypo symptoms
I'm hoping someone can help. I am not getting on well with the Levothyroxine - it makes my symptoms worse and not better. I went to the GP 3 times last week to talk about my results and that I feel no benefit on the Levothyroxine - 2 of the GPs asked me if everything at home was ok, which I knew they

Sea kelp and levothyroxine
I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether it would be worthwhile taking sea kelp supplements as well as my thyroxine (150mg). I don't feel like the thyroxine is fully managing my symptoms, but my doctor won't increase the thyroxine as my bloods are within range, and I'm just wanting to see if there

Neuropathy, anyone?
Do you have neuropathy? What do think has caused it? How do you make it less annoying without using prescription drugs. I am not diabetic and I take B vitamins. I went to a Neuropathy and Pain Center where they did electrotheraphy and lasers. It just made it worse. We did a doplar on my legs and my
