Keep it together, dude.
Another rough day for the most part. I took half of an Elavil last night and it did help with the headaches (the doctors thought they were due to occipital neuralgia) but today the drunk feeling I had was worse than it has been. I've been struggling with this for the passed 2 or 3 mths. I feel drunk

Update on Sudden Decline
That was good news because what the neurologist and the neuro surgeon missed was that Steve has been on anti-coagulants (
Plavix
and aspirin) for his heart for several years. He was transported for surgery, but then held as his platelet count was far to low.

Decreasing GFR
Hi all, new here but wanted to ask a question. I am 48 I have stage 3 congestive heart failure and I take 80mg of Lasix a day plus 25 mg of spironolactone. These are both diuretics. My blood work showed that my GFR has dropped 20 points in less than 2 months. I was at 104 now less then 2 months later

Ablation recommended for my mother at 92 yrs old?
Hi All - I write here for my mother who is 92 yrs old and has had afib for over 30 yrs now. Lately she is having more episodes that last longer periods of time. We saw her cardio/EP today and her heart is beating too fast. She has a pace maker that keeps her heart from going below 60 beats a minute

Cirrhosis makes me sleep all day & night -- any remedies?
Hi! I'm new here. I have had NASH for many years and it has now turned into cirrhosis. I have numerous varices, and had a near-fatal episode of bleeding from my varices a few years ago. The varices have responded well to banding, but I am now astonishingly tired. Sleeping 18 to 22 hours a day is not
