Is it advisable to adopt a low sodium diet if you take 40mg of Lasix a day

I am concerned as there is conflicting advice.

To be certain you should seek medical advice. However my understanding is that the most likely problem with the sodium potassium balance is low potassium. Hence we used to make Lasix K (lasix with potassium)

Have you had a good read of the Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) that came with the tablets? This will give you a list of what to do and what not to do.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your reply. Right now he is in the hospital having had a car pull out in front of him while rideing his bike. I was greeted with the news he has COPD too ,which no one mentioned.

Yes I always read the sheets that come with medicines ,and have done a lot of googling but could not find an answer.
