John Radcliffe waiting times for surgery
Hi. I’m waiting for heart surgery valve repair (hopefully) at Oxford Radcliffe. Been waiting 4 months. No idea of when they will get round to me. Get very vague responses. Anyone else on a list at the JR waiting longer than this? Thanks

feeling defeated
hi everyone I just wanted to post as I’m feeling like none of my real life network understands I was told by a friend to stay positive yesterday but I honestly have nothing left at this point. I had an egg retrieval yesterday that wasn’t what I had hoped and I’ve generally had a rubbish experience

On-X aortic heart valve thumping noise.
I chose On-X because I didn't want valve failure and have to have another surgery. However, with the thumping sound and a sometimes rapid heart beat, I with I'd gone with the bio valve. So my question is: does the On-X mechanical valve get more quiet over time? I had my surgery in June, 2022.

Leave pelvic abscess and monitor?
Hi all, At gynecology appointment today the doctor said I could opt for surgery to remove abscess in fallopian tubes )and possible one ovary ) or I could leave for six months and just monitor how I get on , as I'm not in pain all the time. At the moment having flare ups of pain roughly twice a month.

Do I have Ords?
I’ve been having a big flare up of symptoms following knee replacement last July. Recently my eyes have become very inflamed, blurry vision, pain when I move my eyes sideways or up and down and they ache and feel like they’re burning. I finally saw the GP who was quite concerned so ordered an Opthalmology

Male infertility - non obstructive azoospermia
Hello, is there anyone here that has conceived with undergoing micro TESE surgery and ICSI or naturally with non obstructive azoospermia? Can micro TESE surgery be repeated for another round of ICSI? Is there any supplements or cure that can help with that? Any recommendations will be much appreciated

Thyroid test denied
Hi everyone, I'm very confused right now. For the first time in fifteen years, I had a GP asking all sorts of irrelevant questions when I asked my thyroid to be tested and the Free T3 included. In the end, according to them, the lab didn't test the FRee T3. Obviously, this is due to the GP's input
