Male infertility - non obstructive azoospermia

Hello, is there anyone here that has conceived with undergoing micro TESE surgery and ICSI or naturally with non obstructive azoospermia?

Can micro TESE surgery be repeated for another round of ICSI? Is there any supplements or cure that can help with that?

Any recommendations will be much appreciated thank you!

Hi love

Sorry you find yourself here. My husband has this, sadly the SSR didn’t work, he has 0 sperm. I hope your hubby has better luck. We ended up using donor sperm and conceived our son after a lot of grieving, mainly from me.

I wish I’d never worried as our son is the spitting image of my hubby and has his personality also ❤️

I don’t think there is a cure but there are specialists in London - dr Jonathan Ramsey used to be popular and in New York I think. They used to do the true micro tese with the best equipment- my husband had surgical sperm retrieval which isn’t quite as good from memory.

It was 2012 when we found out so things may have moved on now. Check out the fertility friends site - not so busy now but there will be a long thread on non obstructive azoo. Some are lucky and sperm found and I think can be frozen for future treatment.

Good luck, it’s a crap diagnosis xxx

Thank you for your reply!

We did a micro TESE last year and with the ICSI they only managed to get 1 blastocyst which was transferred in last week. However, I got a BFN from my pregnancy test, although my OTD is on the 22nd I already lost hope and need to start all over. I will check the fertility friends site thank you! It is a very hard diagnosis to deal with. I hope my dream will come true one day xx
