Hello - my physio thinks I have chronic pain syndrome following extensive foot surgery. I have tried amitriptyline, and now trying nortriptyline as recommended by the GP as he says that the side effects will be less. The physio has suggested pregabalin but I am reluctant to take it. Has anyone taken

My neurologist has recommended that I go to physical therapy. My question is how long do you continue with PT? I know they will work on balance, walking, strength, coordination, etc. and it may improve a little. The last time I had gone to PT, the therapist kept giving me exercises but I wouldn’t say

My physio gave me traction treatment on my neck last week , for cervical spondylosis , I have been having dizziness and neck pain . . I can not tolerate that again. Wondering if anyone has had accupuncture for neck problems . Which he has now suggested. I feel awful at present.

A few niggles, am I over doing it?
Hi All, Last night I managed my 4th run over 10k (10.3 to be exact!), but around 8k my achilles was sore, so I slowed up and all was fine. Last week I found I was getting some intermittent calf pain whilst running and a sore foot on completing the 10k, but was fine on the 5k parkrun... I've also

Right back where I started.
Sorry, long post alert! In Feb 2019 I set out on my first tentative steps as a runner. Not sure I’d ever really call myself a runner, a very slow jogger maybe but hey, I trotted my way through C25K, then to 5km (at Parkrun and I had to retire to the sofa for the afternoon because I was so shattered!

I was diagnosed with PMR and GCA in April 2021, but I think had PMR for much longer. Encouraging results after two months on ADT
In my initial post, I explained details of my case. In short, diagnosed in October, Stage 4, bone Mets, PSA 15. Lupron shot and started Zytiga November 17. PSA mid-December dropped to 0.47, and I've been feeling really good. Intermittent sciatica, but no pain many days. Eating healthy, physical therapy
