The pain got so bad that I couldn't dress myself. I do suffer from lower back pain.. diagnosed with sequestered bulge disc and weakness and spasm in my left leg since July 2021. Accessing physiotherapy treatment. I feel since I turn 40 my my pain has gotten worse. In addition I have Fibromyalgia.

Rest and physiotherapy. My physio has told me I am doing too much and when the pain is acute I should rest until it starts to ease before I build up with exercise. Sometimes working through the pain makes things worse. I hope things ease for you soon.
Hi, I had back and neck problems for many years. Yes, I'm in much better shape these days. To be honest, it was tough to sit even at the moment. When I was sitting and working or undertaking any type of physical activity, I was in a lot of discomforts. I experimented with different pain relievers, but none worked in the long run. Finally, I went to the NHS, and my doctor recommended physiotherapy ( mytorontophysio.com/ ). So I decided to give it a shot and sought the advice of a registered physiotherapist who lived nearby. He recommended a few exercises to alleviate cramping as well as a few posture correction procedures to do while working. It was challenging at first, but after a while, encouraging effects started to surface. It felt great because I had been suffering from this for years. So, if you experience similar spasms, it's a good idea to consult a physiotherapist.
Thank you Joey. Physiotherapy is helping. I agree sitting position does impact on my neck and shoulders. I am doing exercises whilst sat on my desk for work because 7 hours sat down is no good 🙃.
