Symptoms again
I've been doing ok for a while since coming off the pill but recently things are getting worse again. The vulval itching has got so bad its waking me up scratching myself raw, and I've got loads of lumps that I assume are some sort of cycst or ingrown hair. I've got stabbing pains under my bellybutton

The thing you fear the most is fear. The thing you panic about most is panic.
You are agoraphobic about agoraphobia, not what's outside your front door. Something originally stressed you and caused your anxiety. But chances are, the original cause has long since passed or has been overcome. But the fear, the panic attacks and the agoraphobia continue. Now you fear the fear, you

Gonal f injections
Hey ladies! Currently on gonal F injections for an egg retrieval for our surrogacy journey. Anyone else going through these injections? I’m currently taking 150ml a day on top of taking two pills (I forgot the name). They are making me incredibly unstable mentally and way more emotional than I could

Day 9 Scan and Follicles still not ready
Hi all, I had my second scan today and my follicles are still not the size they should be :( I think they counted 6 large ones on my left and 3 on my right, but they are all between 12-14 when they need to be 18-20. I then have a number of small ones. So now I have to keep injecting Gonal F (I'm already

Anxiety medicine?
I started on Buspar about a month ago, if that. And honestly I don’t see any real effect from it. Like ever since I started taking it I’ve just felt crappy, altogether. I haven’t had nearly as much panic attacks as I used to before I started on it but it doesn’t help ease my anxiety. It just stops my

Lexapro or Zoloft better for GAD? Thoughts?
I’ve been taking Lexapro for about 10 years and it’s been fantastic, but I’m sensing it might be losing its effectiveness. For those who have taken both, was Zoloft as effective in treating GAD as Lexapro? I also take Trazadone at night for insomnia. Thank you!

Terrified
I struggle with anxiety. In a nutshell, I live in on/going fear something is going to happen to one of my kids. More specifically, I obsess about them dying in a school shooting. Today, there was tragically another school shooting. And then on top of that, my son came hone with a song he wrote in music

AMD Drugs... yes or no?
AMD perhaps... doc wants me on prednisolone acetate and nepafenac ophthalmic susp. drugs for 6 weeks... and I'm concerned it will give me a problem with my immunity... Any thoughts... he want to see if it is really AMD before giving shots... sounds like the shots do the trick... seems started by stress

If I feel really strange and unhinged from anxiety, almost like I'm going to do something crazy, should I isolate myself and stay inside?
Lately anxiety has been making me feel like I'm about to get up and start screaming or running around or just say crazy things to people. I never do, but I FEEL very very unhinged. Is this safe? It feels like my brain is bouncing around in my head from weird thought to weird thought and I don't want

Phobia of V*miting
Hello! I’m Katie. I have a severe, intense fear of v*miting and I was wondering if anybody else had the same phobia? I’ve been like this since I was a toddler. I would rather die than throw up.

Scary anxiety symptoms
Hi! I’m new to the site. I have been dealing with a lot of crippling and severe anxiety that has also turned into depression. My GP put me on Celexa 20 mg but I have only been on it for 2 weeks. I’m going through the ‘it gets worse before it gets better stuff’.. a lot of increased anxiety and junk. But

Bibliotherapy: Self help for your nerves.
Here are 14 Do's and Don'ts as expressed by Doctor Claire Weekes (1903-1990), the author of 'Self help for your nerves' also titled 'Hope and help for your nerves'. "1. Don't run away from fear. 2. Accept all the strange sensations connected with your anxiety disorder, recognise them as temporary. 3.

Ssris to deal with a severe bout of anxiety and depression before moving away from home. Pls help.
My fiancé and I are moving to Phoenix, Arizona in January and we live in Alabama with my family now. In September, I was hit with severe anxiety attacks out of the blue. (I had a really stressful job at the time so I thought that may have been the cause.) Well after I had those horrible anxiety attacks

Self destruction and my inevitable dimise
I am so so so good at being self destructive. It could be mentally or from drink or literally anything. It seems like I enjoy making things harder for myself. Unfortunatley I am now also missing my ex really bad with the cozy weather. I lost my phone and my credit card and someone spent $300 on the card

Hi everyone. Once again I awoke this morning and started crying. I cried until about 11am, stopping once when my boss called. Then showered (crying the whole time), took meds, and .... full stop. Sitting, looking at it pouring rain outside. Tried journaling but I can’t seem to write. Tomorrow i have

Hello, I am new here. I have severe depression and anxiety which has resulted in agoraphobia. I haven't been able to leave the house in almost 4 years now.
