Would anyone be able to recommend an endo in North Yorkshire? I've sent my GP lots of research about T3 and bradycardia and other heart problems because he's told me it's not necessary to test. So far he hasn't been in touch. He's also not happy about my TSH which he considers too low at 0.13. I've sent

15hour wait for an ambulance
I was told by GP to call an ambulance because I had a chest ache for about 3 weeks and was having AFib at the time. I explained that it was not a pain but an ache and asked if I really did need an ambulance? She was adamant I did. Called 999 at noon - ambulance arrived 3am! Hospital trolley in corridor

12 months waiting for nothing.
yesterday I had a telephone appointment from a cardiologist that I’ve waited 12 months for. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. The last cardiologist I spoke to, said if I lose 10% of my body weight, an ablation would be the best option. The one yesterday, told me I had to have a BMI

could olaparib raise LDL cholesterol?
I took my master medical couple weeks back and the only blemish (apart from known blood work readings) is my cholesterol is high. My good cholesterol is in good range while the LDL bad cholesterol is in the upper end of the "high" range at 175.22. There is only a very high range after this. i last

He and liver disease
I am so scared about damage to my liver , I’m worried I have Hepatic encephalopathy. I stupidly took to many over the counter tablets over a course of a month ( paracetamol) , I ended up in ANE but blood work come back ok and wasn’t ever treated however I’m worried I left it to long to go to the hospital

tramadol
I was on tramadol for at least 10 years----100 mg. then my doc took me off because a neurologist put me on Clonazepam for REM/SBD (rapid eye movement sleep behavior disorder.) But I was also getting cervical and lumbar rhizotomies...and still do every 12-14 months or so. I am now working with the VA

Importance of ADT
Are there any good outcomes without using ADT ( hormone therapy)? I delayed it for a couple of years with bad results. My history -- [u]

skin tears
I have vasculitis, MPA, microscopic Polyangiitis, and have been on prednisone for 3 years. Currently I am on 2.5 mg. Recently I developed several skin tears on my legs. Saw my rheumatologist yesterday and he told me to stop the prednisone. Suggestions please…can I just stop the 2.5 or should I taper

Medication review
I have recently had a medication review from my GP(pharmacist). As I have now turned 65 it looks like in addition to the Flecainide/Bisoprolol I also will also need anticoagulants. I was diagnosed with loan Paroxysmal AF about 20 years ago but have only had 2 episodes in the last 4 years and the most
