Peripheral artery disease

is getting a numb foot when walking a typical symptom on Peripheral Artery Disease? Also, for people who only have Peripheral ArteryDisease and NOT CAD, can I ask what medication you are on? Thank you warriors!

This week I spend time in A&E and tests indicate I have bilateral peripheral artery disease and a small blood clot. My legs are weeping and extremely sore. I'm already on clopidogrel due to a stroke late 2022 and other meds for BP etc.

I was prescribed 20mg of Atorvastatin about a month before I was diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease. I experience very severe clarification pain and am worried I may need a higher dose of Atorvastatin. What are others experiences?

I do have Peripheral Artery Disease in my left leg but no pain or restrictions in my arms. She did manage to take blood from my left arm. Is this something to worry about? oh, I’m taking Clopidogrel, Atorvastatin and Famotidine.

Have type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, peripheral artery disease. But to be honest, I feel lucky. Had surgery for PAD in April. Big deal. Major bypasses to provide blood flow to legs, stent in left leg. Doing great, walking,etc. That was the first time I ever needed surgery.

Nothing helped, went to the drs several times (phone appts) just gave me different pain killers etc. 6 weeks later I got intense calf pain on walking, googled it ….PAD a peripheral artery disease….. contacted GP again had a Doppler, blockages in both legs.

Hi Has anyone out there had a implant consisting of some electrodes or simulators etc to help with chronic nerve pain. I have been potentially offer to have one for Pudendal Nueralgia. Not keen on the idea whatsoever but in so much pain and pharmaceuticals not working. Thanks
