Advice, help and thoughts please as feeling increasingly desperate! :'(
This may be a long post but I think it's only fair to give anyone who's kind enough to read and comment, the background and a bit about me. Ok, here goes: Female, mid 40's, diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes two years ago - no meds and diet controlled from diagnosis. I have hypertension (high blood pressure

Exhausted
I've completed a pulmonary rehabilitation course 2 weeks ago. Wanted to join the local Breathe Easy group but am exhausted! In fairness I have felt exhausted for ages and suspect it's due to fast heart rate 115 irregular today, (not unusual for me,) and high blood pressure for which I've been given Indapamide

I've been suffering with high bp for just over a year side effects from other meds that has caused my moods to change I lash out in anger now and this sends my bp sky rocketing (highest was265/120). But one no meds caused blood clots to form in my hands so I have not been on any meds for nearly as long

Blood pressure Medication that ends in PRIL to help kidney disease.
I understand that many are prescribed blood pressure medication to help the kidneys such as medication ending with PRIL. Now I have been on the same meds for blood pressure since 2002 called ADIZEM 180MG take one a day and some years down the link they gave me additional ones called Perindopril 2MG.

what is really causing my symptoms.
after now two years and trying to move a clot in my heart with warfarin, they are considering surgery. My breathlessness is more severe and disabling even to get up to go into the kitchen to wash up. I take digoxin and warfarin and another indapamide which is for HP. When I last spoke to my cardiologist

BP readings and understanding them
I have had high blood pressure for the last 25 years and over time been treated with various drugs. I settled eventually on Indapamide, but since being diagnosed with atrial fibrillation my BP is all over the place. My diastolic is usually in the 90`s and although my systolic is around 150-160 I do

Beta Blockers - What to do about side effects
About fourteen days ago I started taking Bisoprolol. I had no previous AF problems though I have been on other hypertension medicines which for various reasons I now no longer take. (I could regale you with the eight years of complications caused by the likes of Perindopril and Amlodipine but maybe

The hunt for Aspirin alternatives.... Pycnogenol?
Having recently been diagnosed with low risk ET (low risk of clotting, JAK2/CALR neg, platelet count around 740), my hematologist prescribed 1 x 75mg Aspirin per day with quarterly blood tests. I am notoriously bad with medication and will generally always experience the worst of any listed side effects

Is this an AF incident?
I was diagnosed with AF in 2013 with no real symptoms other than lack of energy, could not complete long walks etc. Have had several cardioversions all of which failed and was told because of my age, 77yrs, they did not recommend ablation . Have my GP try to improve things with drugs, they did find

I would like to introduce myself!
Hi, I am Roy and I was diagnosed with PD about 6 years ago but the symptoms had been there for at least 2 years before. My then neurologist put me on Cardiodopa 300mg. My GP thought the side effects outweighed the benefits and we tried homeopathic remedies. At the time I was being treated for high blood

Various BP readings.
I have essential hypertension for well over 30 years and up to last year it was kept under control with Indapamide. Last year I developed AF and my blood pressure rose. After trying various treatments which had unacceptable side effect I now take Spironlactone as well as Indapamide and my pressure

NHS Prescription Saving
If you pay for your NHS prescriptions, you can make huge savings by getting an NHS pre-payment certificate. My pharmacist kindly pointed this out to me. I am on bisoprolol, flecanaide, rivaroxaban, losartan & indapamide. Paying regular prescription price comes to £540/year. The pre-payment certificate

Struggling to keep blood pressure down.
I have had blood pressure problems for years but usually the levels are worse when tested by the nurse at my diabetic 6 monthly check. However, even my checks at home are now showing high sometimes. It's ok after a walk but high in the morning and evening. Does anyone else have a different reading in

Anyone taking Erfa? (Or other NDT views might help)
I've just started taking Erfa on Saturday. Was taking 75mcg Levo up until Friday. Got the Erfa from an Endo in London who I felt reasonably comfortable with. Prescribed 30mg tablets which I believe are 1/2 grain, take 2 per day. Initially no indication of best time or how to take them. Other than

Early 40's BP
Hi, I am a bewildered 43 year old with high blood pressure and endometriosis (which is under control) , my BP, however is random and now worrying. Three years ago BP reared it's head again after a gap from meds due to pre eclampsia. This coincided with an emergency bowel resection required due to endo

About to try NDT, switching from Levo, any advice welcome
After asking nearly every GP in our practice if I could be referred to an Endocrinologist and being refused, one GP (the Senior Partner) finally gave in a few weeks back. I know at our surgery they have a morning meeting at 10am and I'm sure I must be on their agenda sometimes 'Oh by the way, Mrs Howson

Funny Turns
Hi everyone, on two occasions over a six month period I've been sat in my armchair and when I've come to get up my legs have been very wobbly and I've felt as though I need to go to the toilet. I haven't fallen over but I feel really heavy headed. Quite a frightening experience so next week I will see
