Low TSH
hello, I’m wondering if some of you knowledgeable people can give me some advice please. I feel under medicated on 75 mcg of levothyroxine, but the doctor insisted that I needed a blood test, even though they agreed my symptoms sounded like I needed an increase in meds. I’ve called the surgery and surprise

Acid Reflux and Heartburn. What they wont tell you.
When it comes to Acid Reflux and Heartburn there is something that doctors won't tell you and that is that there are two completely different reasons for Acid Reflux and Heartburn. You can have these issues either because you got too much acid in your stomach or you could have these issues because you

LDH Increase after first Obinutuzumab infusion
BTW, after what sounds like the "usual" drama 10 minutes in [he felt like he could not breathe and had intense stomach pain ... they stopped the infusion, added
Pepcid
and a steroid, restarted], both infusions went off remarkably smoothly (I know ... easy for ME to say).

Digestive enzymes/betaine pepsin in the morning
Hi friends! I have a two questions. I hope that's okay: I avoid eating or drinking anything for one hour after taking my thyroid meds. By then, I am ravenous and need to eat because I have blood sugar issues (nothing diagnosable, just feel lousy). Is it okay to take Betaine pepsin and/or a digestive

Hi everyone, Wondering if anyone could help my decipher my results again? For context, I am 41 and trying to conceive. These are follow up tests to the ones I had in September (which I will attach in a separate post). I took the advice from this forum following those results and have been supplementing

IFAB testing guidelines per Mayo clinic laboratory website
I found this IFAB test guideline. I found a few things pretty interesting. This particular lab which is the lab that did my IFAB test says that you should be fasting for 8 hours before you take this test and you should not have had any B12 injections within 2 weeks prior to the test. Another interesting

IMO I have Confirmed - stomach acid is primary cause for my Afib attacks
I took some
pepcid
and tums and it stopped - then I ate my evening fiber rich cereal snack a bit later, and an hour or so later started getting ectopics again - then when I went up to bed I had that feeling like I need to burp, and again lots of ectopics and short SVT runs.

Nausea/Stomach Post-transplant
One of my post transplant friends said that it could be gallbladder issues or that I could take
pepcid
AC prior to eating. Some days I just stay home because I just don't feel well with the nausea and upset stomach.

Gut Health/ Gut Healing
Hi all, I feel like this might be the next step in my healing journey so would be keen to hear thoughts. What are the different protocols you have tried to correct 'leaky gut', gut dysbiosis and gut infections? Beyond the elimination diets, gluten free, paleo etc. Has anyone found the following helpful

Help with diagnosing gut issues that suddenly started 18 months ago - Related to sub-optimal B12?
Hi - this is a repost from IBS Network community. I saw posts on here that lower than optimal B12 could be the cause of my gut issues, which dont' seem to be IBD/IBS as calprotectin is low. Any advice - let me know! I'm new to this community and hoping to get some guidance on my gut issues. The heaviness

What about Pepcid (famotidine)?
I am in the US and take OTC
Pepcid
(Famotidine) for the stomach effects of Pred. I notice that in the forum, most of you are taking other acid reducers.
Pepcid
rarely gets mentioned. So I'm wondering if I have missed a memo or something. Is
Pepcid
not recommended for people on Pred ?

ER visit reaction
I’ve took this medicine in tablet form before and I’ve got treated for allergy through IV with
Pepcid
and Benadryl before but never had this reaction. Is there a difference between Benadryl iv push and Benadryl iv slow drip? Was it preservatives in the slow drip?

Ulcer Medication question
From what I read, Nexium and PPI's and medications like
Pepcid
are hard on the kidneys. What can safely be taken for ulcers or acid reflux? Or, Are they OK to take as long as it is not for a long period.
