Vitamin A and liver enzymes
I’ve been eating about 4 oz (115 grams?) of veal liver each day for the past week. I know it has nutrients that are healthy for the liver, but it’s also very high in vitamin A (I think I had about 25,000-30,000 IUs per day on those days). I’ve read that such doses can be damaging to the liver (and

Peg injections - two in one day
Hi all, I’m on peginterferon Alfa-2a for ET and a few weeks ago my dose was increased to 180mg. The hospital pharmacy deliver my medication and I can only assume they’ve ran out of 180mg syringes as I’ve been sent about 8 boxes of 90mg pre filled syringes meaning I’m expected to do 2 injections after

Monday Dessert: Pandan Jelly in Coconut Milk. 🌱😋❤️🌺
Hello everyone, hope you have a great start of the week! 🤗 Yesterday I visited my parents and they gave me some pandan leaves from their friend’s garden, so I just made pandan jelly dessert. It is served hot or cold. 😋👍 Recipe: Boil pandan leaves in water and add vegan agar powder to make jelly.

On bone marrow biopsy (BMB)?
Hello everyone, People with PV/ET regularly (e.g., per month) test their blood to keep track of cell counts and other things. How about bone marrow biopsy (BMB)? Are there repeats of BMB test to check changes after the first one that was performed to detect any mutation like JK2 ? If yes, how the results

Need input on ADT, Brachytherapy, etc.
Hi folks. I have a diagnosis of 3+4 with PSA of 21. I am on the fence and cannot decide which treatment to get. My doctor wants me to get the ADT (hormone therapy) to shrink the prostate so we can then do Brachy "seeds'. My family wants me to get it out with surgery. I have locally spoken to 3-4 men

Post 585 Take your time 8 Jan 2020
That does seem to be an obvious statement, but I will say it again. Take your time. "YOU" have just been diagnosed (Dx'd) with Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms), "YOU" have tears to shed brick walls to kick and the sky to yell at. Give it everything that "YOU" can muster. Let the scientist on the space station
