Prostate Plan before MRI?

New here. 71 yrs old . Had Prostate biopsy 10+ yrs ago (negative)--PSA was 16+, 2 months ago . A month later after PCSPES, turmeric and beta sitosterol.. 13+. 2 years ago was 8. Prostate= 70 ml. MRI for JAN 3, 2022. I want to take best supplements and there are dozens of brands out there. Dad had prostate cancer and surgery messed him up (24 yrs ago.) What is best of the list of Pygeum, cranberry, probiotic, rye grass, nettle root, lycopene, green tea, quercetine, pumpkin....?

I take several supplements. I take Broccomax and endorse eating broccoli sprouts daily for sulphorophane- -see my post below:

I take Optomized Reservatrol by Life Extension which contains reservatrol, fisetin, and quercetin.

Just to name a few...

The long term supplements I have been taking are Vitamin D3, IP6 and lots of Japanese green tea.

Yes 24 years ago things were very different. Depending on your Gleason scores etc you may have a very different treatment plan and all treatment including prostate removal have moved on considerably since then - even in the time since I was diagnosed over 6 years ago with laparoscopic and nerve sparing operations. My brother in law the first in our family to get PCa lived for over 15 years with stage 4 PCa and I still meet his consultant - now retired, at Prostate Cancer Charity Events and he says if only the treatment/ medication we have now had been available then he would have lived much longer with a far better quality of life.
