How far Glucosamine is helpful for human beings treating Firbromyalgia/Arthritis?
What is the function of Glucosamine? Glucosamine is a compound came upon clearly within the body, produced from glucose and the amino acid glutamine. Glucosamine is having to produce glycosaminoglycan a particle that is used for formation and repair of cartilage and different frame tissues. As we age

Emotional support for 9 year old
My son was diagnosed asthmatic at 10 months after having a major asthma attack. He has been hospitalised numerous times since then (including HDU) and has tolerated all the tests, drips, nebs, needles, etc. He loved the ward rounds as he loved being the centre of attention as a toddler! Recently

Time to find a new pulmonologist?
Every quarter in Israel I can change doctors and the end of a quarter is coming up (end September). I'm increasingly frustrated with my current pulmonologist, but I'm worried that I won't do much better with a new pulmonologist. All the pulmonologists in town work that are part of my health plan work

Predicted vs personal best peak flow
Currently captured in costa - been here since Friday. Bit confused about the ward nurses stance on pf. My best is 600 and this mornings reading was 230 pre nebs. Desperate to get out so was a bit worried about this. I have home nebs so don't have to go 24 hours without them when I'm captured!! I asked

its not easy but stick at it
with years of different "diets and fad meal plans" it has taken a change of how I view things to make the changes work. Now I have always been a large person 25st at my heaviest (i'm 6'2") but i have always been active, always played in all the teams for schools and uni and on top of that an active

Feel a bit of a fraud
I was diagnosed over 45 years ago as a Chronic Bronchitic. I had a lobectomy of the left lung aged 18, and have had no medical check ups or treatment since then. Now in my early 60's, my average peak flow (Which I do more from curiosity than anything else) is around 160, I struggle a bit climbing stairs

Peak flow, low low low!
I have had a bit of a shock when I tested my peak flow, my partner is asthmatic and I decided to test my peak flow as my breathing has improved such a lot... I found that it is 330 and that is with EFFORT! It seems to vary what it should be but it is still at best 80 what evers under and at worst 130

P.I.P Home Assessment - Feedback
Well, finally the assessment took place today. Wasn't too bad so will fill you in from application to home visit. Firstly, after phoning up on 27th June to apply for PIP (the day DLA changed to PIP), it took roughly 3 weeks from that first part of the application over the phone (similar to the previous

That'll learn me!
So - my asthma has been on the up since I got diagnosed with adrenal crap in March. Today I ... ... thought and tweeted about how chuffed my consultant will be at the difficult asthma clinic in 3 weeks when I tell him I haven't had a proper scary attack since March ... walked the dog this morning

claggyness in throat
I'm getting a claggy feeling in my throat, like thick mucus that I can't swallow/bring up. At times it briefly closes off my throat and I can't breathe for a second or two. Any ideas what it could be? Asthma s not 100%, averaging 75-79% on peak flow, symptoms 3-4 times a week (2-6 puffs at a time) but
