Hashimotos and Cardiac Issues
Hello all - My diagnosis of Hashimotos was approx 3 years ago and by the end of the first year of adjusting dose of Levo I felt reasonably well and I know my TSH was below 1 at that stage because it had been 0.02 when I was taking 125 Levo and GP dropped it to 100 which I wasn't happy with as I felt

TSH 'normal' but getting severe fatigue and brain fog
Hi there, I have been on 50mg levothyroxine for about a year after finally being diagnosed with Hashimoto's (I had TSH of around 7 and very high TPO antibodies). I have generally felt a lot better since being on the meds but the last couple of months I've had the most terrible fatigue, feeling like

Follow on from my "Weak T3 post" Well test results are in and they are very similar like for like.... so why does Roma just not make you feel as good as Tiromel? Irritatingly I c@cked up the folate and Vit D so another stabfest is needed next week 😞 I shall have to go dig around and compare the

What do I do now?
Hi About 3 years ago, when Covid started and it was difficult/impossible to see a GP, I started taking B12 supplements 3-4 times weekly. I was experiencing many symptoms - fatigue and tingling and breathlessness amongst them. Whilst not wanting to diagnose myself, I felt I had little choice given

Re: MEAL
J Kellogg "Kelly" Parsons initiated the MEAL intervention trial a little before 2008 & wrote the (final)? Â paper in 2020. Â That suggests a big commitment & I doubt that he would have become involved unless he really believed that vegetables must make a difference to PCa outcome. Â After all, it's "common

Can I Reduce The Symptoms of ADHD Taking These Supplements?
Hi everyone, I am diagnosed with ADHD last week. My psychiatrist prescribed me Strattera (Atomoxetine). I have heart arryhtmia and learned that it is not recommended to use Straterra if you have heart arryhtmia. Also I learned that sudden deaths and stroke have been reported in adults taking atomoxetine

Not reacting well to T3
Hello All, I wonder if there are people here who have not reacted well to T3? This is the second time I'm trying to take it. First time, it was about 5 years ago when I needed to raise my T3, it was at 20% range. I took just 5mcg of compounded T3 as per my Doc advice and started to feel anxious,

Advice for my 76yr old Hypothyroid mum
Advice for my mum please if that's OK. My mum is hypo - she takes 75mcg of levothyroxine. For years she has struggled with sleep, being cold and brain fog. She has just accepted this as being old age and when she has asked her gp - they just say her results are in range and that's the end of that. I

I have been educating myself reading other posts on this fantastic forum and think I may have a T4-T3 conversion issue
as previously posted I was diagnosed with secondary hypothyroidism last June . It really helped me laying out my test results for the first time when I first posted here. After calculating percentages and reading all the helpful posts I think I may have a conversion issue. I would really appreciate

Advice before NHS endocrinologist appointment

Thoughts on embryo quality
Hi, I hope everyone is keeping well. I’ve just finished my 2nd cycle of a 3 cycle package and have a couple of things I’d appreciate you lovely people’s thoughts on. 1. I have 11 frozen embryos of varying quality. Which obviously I’m hugely thankful that I even got 1 as I know it only takes that special

Calcium supplements - are they essential for PMR
I saw my GP a couple of days ago and whilst there he reviewed my Calcium/Vitamin D3 supplements. I currently take an EvercalD3 tablet twice daily, a super strength vitamin D3 +K2 tablet containing 4000 iu vitamin D3 plus a multivitamin tablet. This gives me calcium intake of 3000 mg daily and 5000

Test results, a penny for your thoughts?
Hello everyone, just had my latest blood tests done. Just curious what you would say about them, if you have the time? A few months ago I went up by 12.5mcg in an attempt to bring my TSH down to around 1 where I generally feel better. My weight is a lot better these days, my heart rate has finally calmed
