“The three amino acids that are most effective at increasing dopamine levels are l-tyrosine, L-dopa, and phenylalanine.”
Anyone using these in combination? I think adding SAM-e to this might work synergistically? I’m learning other means of increasing dopamine to wean off of Azilect.

The Correct Curcumin for Used in "The Effect of Curcumin on Idiopathic Parkinson Disease: A Clinical and Skin Biopsy Study"
So I posted about this remarkable preliminary study that seems to show 1 gram of curcumin twice a day for a year actually improves motor and non-motor symptoms AND reduces the A-Syn detected in the skin. That seems pretty amazing (but it was a small study): The Effect of Curcumin on Idiopathic Parkinson

MAOI for depression in Parkinson’s
I’ve been through everything for my Parkinson’s depression and anxiety anhedonia disorder but nothing touches it. Recently started Rasagiline which I’ve been on for about a month but not feeling anything from it. Next suggestion from my neuro psychiatrist is moclobimide but I read it doesn’t increase

Parkie King of the slopes - again
So. Coming up for 5 years post diagnosis, 31 January and the tax return marathon behind me, glorious sunshine following a huge dump of snow - it would have been rude not to go skiing with my chums.A bit apprehensively if truth be told, not least because my boots had rotted and I had to hire a pair. But

Artificial Intelligence Study Detects Parkinson’s from Breathing Patterns Jan 17, 2023
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is the fastest growing neurological disease in the world. Currently, there is no single test or biomarker that can diagnose PD or monitor disease progression. However, a new study utilizing artificial intelligence may change the way we track Parkinson’s. A lot like a warning
