My husband has just been diagnosed with early stage Parkinson's. I have been looking into non-drug treatment and came across Max Tomlinson, an Australian trained Naturopath, working in the UK. He specialises in PD and Alzheimer's. I was wondering if anyone here has been treated by him and with what results?
Thanks.

Thanks for the link. I've applied to join the group. I understand that Max's Parkinson's protocol is a revised version of the Bredesen Protocol and is called P.M.E.N.D. It's based on a lot of tests that go beyond the Bredeson ones.
I doubt you would learn anything from Max that you couldn't learn from a few hours of reading this forum.
He describes himself as a general wellness guru/entrepreneur. I stay away from general wellness types.
If he can't resolve your Parkinson's issues, maybe he can sell you weight loss shakes. (I've never understood how drinking a shake would cause a person to lose weight.).
From his Linked In page, i.e., his own words.
"I am an entrepreneur and my latest venture raised £250k from an AIM listed biosciences company to launch GoFigure, a range of healthy weight-loss shakes with a microbiome enhancer.
Wellness and Spa
I worked with Sue Harmsworth from ESPA to create the ESPA LIFE wellness spa concept. We launched at The Corinthia Hotel and Gleneagles in Scotland. I am co-founder of Inspa Retreats, the first destination spa company (created in 2005).
I am a published author (2 books) , with my latest book - 'Target your Fat Spots' - translated into 9 languages.
I am also an engaging public speaker and connect immediately and deeply with my audiences.
My skills are:
1. Parkinson's and Alzheimer's support and treatment.
2. Wellness spa consultancy.
3. Sustainable Weight Loss - I started GoFigure, a very successful natural weight-loss company.
4. Health food and nutritional supplement product development + production.
5. Distribution of product into both the retail + health professional markets."
Thanks for taking the time for all that. Although he was trained in the Bredeson protocol it has been revised for Parkinson's. He apparently does a lot of tests which go beyond the Bredesen Recode ones. He calls the protocol P.M.E.N.D.
People lose weight on shakes because they eat less as the shakes fill them up. It doesn't teach them healthy eating though! My husband does not need to lose weight!
I agree that results will vary depending on background, genetic profile, comorbidities and environment. However, the primary drivers of results are determination, dedication and desire.
Surely even improving quality of life by 10% is worth the effort. 😀
I am so pleased to know about your book. Congratulations on beating Parkinsons! Amazing achievement/character! I will too! By the grace of God. At this stage I am struggling with dyskinesia as a withdrawal symptom of levodopa. Any tips on how to overcome it?
