Hello everyone I recently started on Benapali injections….2nd one this week so obviously can’t tell if it’s helping yet. So far only tiredness as side effect. Do I have to stop for 1 week before having the Covid and flu boosters ? Also I am due my second Shingles vaccination and trying to avoid

Viral meningitis
My 17 year old daughter was diagnosed with viral meningitis last weekend and this was confirmed on Monday. Initially she was given antiviral and antibiotics because they was unsure if it was bacterial meningitis. She had been unwell for 5 or 6 weeks. Permanent headache that painkillers didn't touch

stop prednisone with flu vaccine?
I was told not to take my prednisone and antiviral to receive flu vaccine. Has anyone heard of that? That it would be less potent. When do we recommence ? Thank you!

Timing of flu vaccine when on weekly Tocilizumab
Hello all After an unsuccessful trial of 5 months without Tocilizumab, I am back on weekly injections. It's also time to have my flu jab. In the past when on two-weekly and three-weekly injections it was easy to fit the flu vaccine in not too close to the injections. Now, the best I could do would be

Covid positive
I am undergoing ADT(Lupron, Zytiga & Prednisone) treatment for stage 4 Prostate cancer. I tested positive for Covid today so want to get guidance from this group if I need to be careful with anything in particular.

Lletz and Low PaPP-A
Hi all Hope you're well! We're 13+5 weeks after ICSI treatment, and I am just panicking a bit. I've had a lletz procedure so knew I'd need cervical length scans and had a higher risk of premature birth. I've just found out i also have low papp-a and although I'm a midwife it's something I have

Negative test results - Gutted
Hi, I'm new to this group but have found it very useful during the TWW. I've just undergone my first ICSI cycle and today did a pregnancy test. It was negative and despite trying to be prepared it's hit me hard. I'm 39 years old, turning 40 this year. Had an ecoptic pregnancy 2 years ago and after almost

Back to it!
First run post Covid and I thought I’d head off to the running club and join in with a Week4, Run 1 couch to 5K run. Not the time to be pushing myself. It was a little warm, but it was so slow it didn’t matter 😊 And it felt good to be running again. I’ve lost a little fitness but not too much. Fortunately

IMSI instead of ICSI
Can people share their experiences of IMSI and pm me the name of any UK clinics that offer this? Im in Scotland and DNA fragmentation is an issue 💔

OHSS after egg collection, had to wait till July/Aug for FET . Stressed up!
Hi , cut the story short. It's our third cycle of ICSI. I knew something was not quite right this round of ICSI as very bloated and very tired. I had been going in clinic every day since Day 10 of stimulation injection for blood tests and ultrasounds . 20 eggs were collected but only two made to fair

TW *mentions successful pregnancy ** Sibling round question
Trigger Warning: mention of successful pregnancy. Hi there, I’m sorry if this is a tough post for some as I realise how lucky we are to have a child. I had a round of ICSI 2019 (male factor) and had 4 embryos on day 5, transferred 1 fresh - failed, 2nd transfer - a FET failed and 3rd transfer success

DNA fragmentation worth it?
Hi, We’ve had 1 fresh and 1 frozen embryo transfer, both unsuccessful. At the review, we asked if there is anything else worth testing before trying again as we are moving from NHS to self-funded. The doctor initially suggested a sperm DNA fragmentation test and said if this showed an issue they

hi everyone, first time posting and I am feeling so lost… 1st round- 20 eggs collected, none made to day 5. 2nd round- 18 eggs collected, 1 made it to fresh transfer but bled heavily on 10dpt. Game over. 3rd round- 31 eggs retrieved, 27 mature (I asked this time), 21 fertilised, 1 made it to day 5

Egg retrieval day
Today is egg retrieval day and I was feeling fairly positive until I spoke to the consultant and she told me she's expecting the egg number to be in single figures (so anything up to 10). I know quality matters over quantity but am now freaking out as I got 20 eggs last time and only 3 embryos, so thinking

Covid and thyroid hormones
I got Covid for the first time 2 weeks ago, still testing positive although the line is very faint, but still there. I didn’t really need the test to tell me that as I’m still feeling utterly crap. My thyroid problems have been ongoing for around 4 years now (no formal diagnosis) and I’ve also had low
