seems no one can help
They have now made an appointment with the pain specialist who he has seen before and he gave him tramadol which didn’t work and
paracetamol
. The Drs at emergency gave him
paracetamol
and codine which doesn’t work either . It’s seems only the anti- inflammatory drugs work .

Windeze (simeticone) is no use (only
paracetamol
does anything) , I try to follow FODMAP diet and am really struggling to work out where it comes from. Was it the foolish spoonful of peas, was there too much wheat in the bread and so on?

I’m taking
paracetamol
sparingly, just had a tea with lemon and honey and am drinking lots of water and gargled salt water earlier so as to not overdose on lozenger. anyone else had anything similar going into FET and is there anything else I can do?

RLS and stress
The time I am taking
paracetamol
for pain, It triggers the immune system and causes other issues like lichen plants. I can not take any NSAIDs for a few days either. How do you feel about stress and NSAIDS?

CONCUSSION - HELP - ADVICE PLEASE
I took
paracetamol
and that didn't help. I went to A&E 4 days later - the CT scan showed no bleeds, fractures etc. Doctor sent me home and said just take
paracetamol
. It's been 7 days now and I still have this raging headache, pressure and now ringing in my ears.

Worried About (Possible) Recent Diagnosis of PMR.
I have a dull headache which responds to
Paracetamol
. My concern is that I’ve been taking 10mgs Pred daily for almost 2 weeks and not seeing my Rheumatologist for another 2 weeks. If I’m honest, I’m still unconvinced that I do have PMR and scared of being on steroids unnecessarily.

Prescribed Naproxine 250 twice a day for hip bursitis is that dangerous with Pred
Suggested I take up to 4g of
Paracetamol
if necessary. Just read of NHS site that Naproxine and Pred are not compatible. Is this true for short time use? If so what can I ask for instead.

Struggling with outcome of Rheumy Consultation
The best he has to offer is keep taking the codine and
paracetamol
daily exercises might help. Oh and I'll have a telephone consultation in 3 months. Surely I can't be the only person with my particular set of spanners in the works /issues. Any advise is greatly appreciated

Back and hips - is this a Flare??
I can only take
paracetamol
for pain, due to other problems no other pain killers are allowed and these do help but only for a short while.

General pain
Been on ibuprofen,
paracetamol
and codeine which help. But I hate the effects of the codeine. I found Nettle Balm on the Internet (hand made with beeswax) and I've found it really takes the edge of the pain.

unexpected pain relief
i don’t take any meds for Fibro, can only tolerate
paracetamol
for pain relief (which doesn’t really do a lot for me) My cardiologist started me on a new medication to help regulate my heart rythym and help control the af.

Post viral stuff!!
I took
paracetamol
which, to be honest, didn't do much so took myself off to bed. This morning I feel the same so I have just taken an extra 3mg of pred.....my dose is 5mg.....now I wait and see!!! I'd like to get my hands on the person who said this usually only lasts 2 years!!!

prednisolone withdrawal
I can’t lay on that side,
paracetamol
hasn’t done anything and I’m awake at silly o clock. Should I stick it out for a few days or straight away admit defeat and take 7.5mg again this am? Had all bloods taken last Wednesday and again all come back normal. 😏🙏

If not Temporal Arteritis, what could it be?
It improves with
paracetamol
taken at regular intervals but at certain angles my head really hurts, albeit briefly. I’m pretty sure it’s not GCA because there are no vision or jaw involvement, but what else could it be?

tooth pain & pregnancy
I've also been given the okay to use orajel but I feel taking all this is loads as I'm taking
paracetamol
also and using a cold compress. The tooth is cracked as it's been ongoing for months but not this bad and only ever lasted a day I've had this for 3 days and barely sleeping due to the pain.

Potentially Heading Flarewards
I have tried
paracetamol
- it might have helped a little in the first few days, but I stopped taking it and the aches are definitely getting worse as the days have gone on.

The seemingly good, bad and ugly rheumatologists
I can take
paracetamol
for the pain or stiffness but only if desperate ! Not a clue what is wrong with me (his words) but referred to the default fibromyalgia when all else fails. Being referred back to the second rheumatologist ‘care’ and hope this does not result in another U turn.

Pain and frustration 😟
The pain doesn’t seem to lessen at any point of the day but does respond to
paracetamol
. It doesn’t go away completely but eases. I’m unsure what to do. My rheumatologist has cancelled my forthcoming January appointment and moved it to the end of March.
