When I am stressed although I am away from all nightshades and other foods worsening RLS, I am exhausted even in the morning. You know that RLS is sometimes a reaction of the immune system. The time I am taking paracetamol for pain, It triggers the immune system and causes other issues like lichen plants. I can not take any NSAIDs for a few days either.
How do you feel about stress and NSAIDS?

Idealy you should be finding the cause of the inflammation rather than supressing it with medication as inflammation it a part of the body's healing system.
The stress hormone cortisol is known as a glucocortinoid hormone and the 'gluco' part of the name indicates that it contains a sugar component and will affect the body in similar ways to sugar i.e. it will cause inflammation in the body. Luckily there is a herbal treatment called ashwaganda which will regulate cortisol, I take it myself before bed, and it has dramatic effects on my blood pressure. youtu.be/7z4z3gCOVNY?si=HR-...
Amazing. You might know the answer to this question. Is that high glucose that is causing problems with RLS or high insulin after a sharp increase in glucose?
One more thing. I have almost low blood pressure. Does ashwagandha regulates blood pressure or reduce it?
I believe that RLS is caused the high blood sugar which causes inflammation of the nerves.
Ashwaganda regulates the stress hormone which raises blood pressure so if you do not suffer stress it may not have much of an effect if your BP is low.
