My dad has been diagnosed with PC and is going to have chemo followed by a Whipple. We are looking for nutritional advice to help my dad.

First of all, so sorry to hear that your dad is having to go through this.
As for nutritional advice, just whatever your dad fancies. The appetite is one of the first things to suffer with PC, so if he fancies cream cakes for breakfast or pizza, let him have it. That may seem silly, but when my own dad was diagnosed it was what we were told. His appetite had diminished to zero, so if he fancied eating it was a joy to hear!

Hi, it just shows how different surgeons and hospitals recommend different treatments. My partner had the Whipple 2 years ago but did not need chemo beforehand. After his Whipple he then had a type of chemotherapy tablet that he had to take I think for around 6 months. He is absolutely fine, goes on holidays and I might add he had liver cancer and pancreatic cancer together - (two different cancers luckily which is why they could operate and actually DO the Whipple) otherwise he could not have had the operation. He had 13 hours of surgery and this story has a happy ending - don't be despondent and as long as the food is not spicy and rather plain and bland - he will be fine. My partner lived on cheese on toast, poached fish and that sort of thing. He is now back up to 15 stone. I hope this gives you a lot of hope and don't listen to too many disaster stories. Tell your Dad to just get on with it and get better and there's no reason why he won't! lots of luck. Like the lady below says, let him eat what he wants but highly spiced food might disagree with him - however, only one way to find out....!!
