Pamidronate

Has anyone else been receiving pamidronate instead of Zometa? Shortly after receiving my first treatments my bones just ache. Then it seemed to subside. I had to miss a couple of treatments due to covid, after my first treatment I was sore again.

Was on the older drug pamidronate which give side affects ( ear problems, teeth,muscle,etc) consultant has stopped that drug and wants me on the newer drug, l am scared of the stronger drugs in case it gives me worse side affects

/ibandronate/pamidronate. Infusions. Have to have dentist take 2 teeth out first otherwise bad teeth can cause osteoporosis and cause the jaw to break. New field of treatment for me, has anyone had this please?

He also had Pamidronate IV infusion to strengthen his bones due to the Metastasis. I’m wondering if maybe that caused this. 💔💔😩😩. I pray we can gets some answers. Do any of you have any ideas as to what this might be?

I had 2 infusions of pamidronate over 2 days in Aug 2019 for a stiff knee and Fibrous Dysplasia. I was told it would help strengthen my knee, the Fibrous Dysplasia was never so bad that a few ibuprofen wouldnt cure.

I would be pleased for any information on this , As have been treated before with pamidronate and then zoledrate acid, for pagets...Does also affect the Mgus IgG kappa that I have or vice versa, is there any masking from either....just that when i have had treatment for pagets i am sure that it might

Hi, Does anyone have any thoughts on being infused with either Pamidronate (Areida in US) or Zolendronic Acid? I have osteoporosis so of course they want to administer one of the above in between the Carbo and Taxol chemos.

I was just wondering if anyone in the community has had an IV Pamidronate infusion for scleroderma. I am supposed to,be having one at the end of May and I am not sure what the side effects are and, also, if it has been beneficial for anyone with Sclerodema.

information and im sorry . i have had a rough 4 years with getting seperated with my husband and being in hiding and court and now my health is bad i just found out i have a blocked valve and one leaking. that's enough about my personal problems . a while ago my son Joshua (JJ) had a treatment of pamidronate

They offered me a pamidronate infusion to help with the pain which didn't help and when I saw the consultant 4 weeks later (2 weeks ago), the only other suggestion she had was to put my hands in a bowl of warm water!!

After 10 days in the oncology unit, with masses of iv fluids, pamidronate (to lower the calcium) and antibiotics for a fever, I was well enough to come home and am now starting to build up my strength again. Where am I now, and has this any relevance for others of you on ibrutinib?

Hi all pls i am having a pamidronate infusion on thursday bcos of the pain on my kness. I have low bone density or smthing. So many medical jagon that i cant keep track of all the diagnosis. Pls has anyone had this infusing before and how did it work out. I read about it and its side effects.

I'd be very interested how others have got on with IV bisphosphonates...i understand only ibandronate ((bonviva), disodium pamidronate (aredia) & zoledronic acid (aclasta) are given by IV My other issue is chronic osteomyelitis of the upper jaw, which is a long standing antibiotic responsive condition
