PMR Relapse after operation?
I was discharged again on the 18 June after no further leaks but I noticed increased
pain
levels in the last 2 days in hospital When I was discharged, I mentioned that the
pain
symptoms etc were similar to the one I had when suffering from PMR but this was dismissed.

New but familiar
My symptoms were abdominal
pain
with diarrhea which turned into constipation. Started the low fodmap diet in 2021, and stopped eating gluten, and cut out sugar. My symptoms improved until recently. Now I'm having daily abdominal
pain
and I'm not passing as much stool as I was a couple of years ago.

broken bones and MPN
I do normally have bone
pain
anyway but my lower leg is extremely painful and hot to touch. I’m taking zapain full daily dose but it’s only barely touching the
pain
. I’m not allowed to take NSAID’s and wondering if there is anything else I can take.

Endo investigation, TTC post losses
It was ectopic, and initially flagged as concern due to the intense
pain
in my right side - although the ectopic was actually the other side, and the
pain
just my usual.

Flare caused by stress and overexertion
Pain
in the tops of my legs ,lower buttocks, and calves started a week ago and has worsened with some stiffness in my shoulders and arms. The
pain
is almost identical to the start of PMR in 2020 with associated feeling tired and loss of appetite.

37 M, Functional Tremor, with hyperreflexia, dysphagia, SBD, and urinary incontinence. All diagnosed.
Of course telling the VA this makes you look like a drug addict, even though I refuse all
pain
killers and any non necessary treatments and am a former Search and Rescue instructor trying to return to active duty as a Chaplain.

Is some pain necessary when gradually reducing steroids ?
Then at 5 mg
pain
came back in wrists ( not so severe ) so Dr advised to increase by 1mg. So I am currently on 6 mg a day. I still have
pain
but am working on the assumption I should put up with this so the body can start to replace the pren.

However, since then the actual
pain
in my upper arms and neck have been excruciating. I’m basically now unable to do the smallest of tasks and driving is becoming too painful. Is there any reason for this sudden onslaught of
pain
. I live on my own and it takes me ages to get dressed etc.

Update on Pelvic Floor Botox Injections!
But I am so happy to be able to report that for the past couple of weeks, my pelvic
pain
has been so much better! I didn't want to say anything at first, because it seemed too good to be true and I kept expecting to have more
pain
again.

Rheumatoid?
Last month i recently developed
pain
and swelling at the base of the thumb (right more than left). My coccyx
pain
is gradually getting better after nine months. But this has me concerned. I realize that RA may possible crop up with PBC, but how likely is this?

Early Pregnancy Symptoms??
I’m experiencing
pain
AFTER ovulation which is unusual for me, I usually get a gap between ovulation pains and lead up to period pains. Has anyone experienced
pain
similar to endo cramps in early pregnancy? I would SO appreciate any info. Thank you!

low back pain
I don’t even remember because the
pain
in my lower back gets worse as time goes on and today is no exception. To begin with it seemed my Rytary helped but not anymore. I barely sleep because of it waking me. As I sit here waiting for my second dose of Rytary, it just feels worse.

stopped Pred but pain & stiffness came in knees. GP says it isn’t PMR
Pain
went away. Have carried on with Pred, assuming PMR still grumbling away. Intend to taper off gradually over next weeks. GP insists it is OA and suggests ibuprofen or paracetamol orally for
pain
. Wants me off steroids sharpish. What do others think? Is knee and hand
pain
usual in PMR?

PMR relapse?
Docs there were concerned that PMR might be an issue due to physical
pain
I was in. Back to GP and was suggested I try going on Pred to see if it helped. It has done so though still some arm/shoulder
pain
. Can walk much better and minimal
pain
at night.
