Loss of appetite, change of taste, and sleeping problems following heart surgery.
Severe complications five weeks later led to fitting of a
pacemaker
and change of medication. On Bisoprolol 5 mg and Digoxin 2.5 mg and doing well. Great problem with appetite initially with rapid loss of weight. Disturbed sleep pattern still. Is this a common problem after heart surgery?

Vaccine & cardiac problems
Hi all, I have a
pacemaker
in situ and SVT. Had first Covid-19 vaccine jab last week, and experienced some side effects, cardiac issues. I had more arrhythmias than normal, chest pains and general fatigue. It has lasted near 5 days now, issues started on day 2 after the jab.

Recovering from a Pacemaker
I was glad that I had a few weeks preparation before I had the
Pacemaker
to practice things like dressing and how often I use my left arm. I knew I could not raise my left arm higher than my shoulder for 6 weeks afterwards so knew that yoga and Tai Chi would be shelved for the 6 weeks.

Pacemaker
Just had a
pacemaker
done today . Due to bradacardia. There were issues with getting it done due to finding vain at collar bone .and then lead would not go by the valve. Used 3 diferent ones. Eventually it worked. Also very painful due to getting
pacemaker
inserted into position.

CRT Pacemaker and AV Ablation
After four lots of Cardioversion, two lots of Catheter Ablation and multiple meds, which are either ineffective or make me feel 'strange', I have been listed to have a Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy
Pacemaker
fitted, followed by AV Ablation.

Afib and heart problems
The electrophysiologist thought my resting heart rate was slow from years of exercise, but advised me that I may need a
pacemaker
when I’m in my late 70’s.

AVR Surgery - Advice
I'm 36 years old and had a
pacemaker
implanted in 2018 due to heart block. But now have severe aortic stenosis with severe aortic regurgitation, I need to have AVR with ascending aorta replacement (hopefully not root replacement as well).

High risk of covid or not
Are we higher risk for covid with a
pacemaker
? I have no heart problems at all ironically pulse just dropped one day. No underlying illness. I am still in band 9 for age and I’m a bit worried .

Pacemaker or Ablation
A
Pacemaker
does seem more straightforward to me but then perhaps there are implications I am unaware of.

Eptopic beats and af
I had my surgery (aortic valve and aorta replaced) on 14.12.20, I then had a
pacemaker
fitted 04.01.21. I have been home 3 weeks and have developed eptopic beats and atrial fibrillation. My heart rate fluctuates constantly. I was wondering if anybody else has experienced this in their recovery.

Had pacemaker fitted recently without any sedation
Everything I read about
pacemaker
implantation states that the patient should be sedated.
