I had a pacemaker fitted in Dec 2020, a week later I had to have new leads fitted as the original ones moved and were causing terrible pain. I had my second op 23.12.20 but I have shooting pains down my arm to my wrist, has anyone else had this
Regards

I had a lot of pain and bruising in my shoulder and arm for probably about 8 weeks, muscles and nerves have been messed around so can take time to heal but as you've had problems best to get it checked out.
Thank you, scared to go back after what happened, have had so many problems and in and out of hospital and was hoping the shooting pains were just with not using my arm for 5 weeks, it is a lot worse when I do my shoulder exercises then settles. Also Covid makes me not want to go. Regards Suzie
I had one fitted in October, and after the initial soreness and bruising cleared up, about 19 days, I have hardly been aware of it. You should have a word with your cardio team, or your GP.
Maybe I have been unlucky then, I went for a pacemaker fitted due to Bradycardia but since then, I have tachycardia and eptopic beats, on beta blockers, then misplaced leads so had to have replaced a week later and now shooting pains down my arm like an electric shock!
