Oxynorm

I was currently taking 90mg twice daily of modified release and 10mg of oxynorm immediate release 5x daily.

16 years ago had new left hip short while after because of the pain found muscle not stitched still pain another op they fitted wrong joint still pain GP update to 220 OxyContin &160 oxynorm when’s private found extensive nerve damage had spinal implant left knee replaced then infected clean out 3 weeks

Hi ,I’m 82 and have been on oxynorm for many years ,I’m allowed 25 mgs daily but can’t help myself ,sometimes I take extra ,I have ckd / heart problems with pacemaker ,also chronic osteoporosis .im so tired of it all ,need someone to talk to how they coped . Keep safe Peggy ❤️

I had to add some OxyNorm to the fentanyl to get the pain down to a controllable level. The third day seemed like a miracle – no pain, feeling a little euphoric, but after that the days were fairly mixed in terms of pain and mobility.

Hi just been to the doctors today got these for the pain was talking about oxynorm but doctor said these are better as there slow release.... anyone had experience with these .... at all ...

I'm now taking Oxycodone (Longtec), naproxen, paracetamol, amitriptyline, fultium-d3 and oxynorm liquid too. I'm now at the point I'm struggling at work, struggling at home trying to sleep and I'm waiting on being referred to the pain clinic.

I am also a type 1 diabetic but getting the same symptoms as pre op and currently on oramorph and oxynorm which whilst on this I don't feel my hypos. Which I am struggling to deal with daily life and worried endometriosis has come back or I have more adhesions.

Has anyone successfully reduced oxynorm (morphine ) to maybe 20 mg daily from 30mg daily .thank you .peggy ❤️

We’ve had some singing and some gobbledygook and I have gone back to being called ‘mum’ again 🤣🤦‍♀️ He has been prescribed oxynorm liquid and diazepam as well as Co-codamol 30/500 - he is totally off his trolley - even though I am still a RN (I am Not working as we are just waiting for him to get worse

Any advice on cutting down oxynorm 5mg every other day & will I be ok

I’m on a lot of medication but can only have paracetamol & small dose of oxynorm for pain relief because of my kidneys.im housebound &really don’t know how long I can go on,just crying &not sleeping well,any advice will be appreciated.Peggy x❤️

He felt humiliated With the help of GP and consultant he has come off Oxycontin and Lyrica in the last 18 months and now just takes 1 or2 Oxynorm. Too much...cut down to one a day. Starting dictating to him how to manage and control his pain.

To be honest, I made matters worse by refusing any top-up OxyNorm because I wanted to get off all the opioids as quickly as possible. That essentially led to three days of hell in bed with me ultimately having to take some small amounts of top up Oxy over the next week or so.

Doctor prescribed Oxycodone Hydrochloride 40 mgs BD for patient A diagnosed with Cancer of the Pelvis,can we give the Oxynorm because they said that it should be the Oxycontin SR(slow released).pls.reply....asap..tnx.

I have seen my GP about this but they don’t want to prescribe muscle relaxants, the only medication I have is myprocam 30mg (cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride), oxynorm 20mg (oxycodone hydrochloride) and Tramadol which is also an opioid type drug.... the problem is, I don’t drink any of these drugs because

My real worry is that the pain clinic wants to cut back my painkillers 25 mg of oxynorm trough our the day. Because she said my kidney function would drop & I would die . But my kidney specialist is happy with what I’m doing & cardiologist plus my GP. I’m really worried now .sorry to rant on.

Does anyone else take oxynorm & paracetamol + water tabs. Blood pressure tabs & thyroxine. I feel it’s so wearing me down . Any words of encouragement would be so appreciated as it’s just one miserable day after another . I don’t go out have difficulty walking .
