back on line!
hi everyone! I haven’t Been posting because I hadn’t anything to report. And I still haven’t apart from the fact that after spending a lot of money having a private consultation with a heart and lung guy and several different inhalers I am still as short of breath as ever. In fact more so. But

Inhaler disposal, please think of the environment.
I was at a meeting today and mentioned was the disposal of used inhalers. We were encouraged to take our used inhalers to the pharmacy for appropriate disposal, where the inhalers are subjected to proper disposal avoiding cross contamination and avoidance of plastic emissions. Perhaps none of you

Advice please, headaches with Duoresp Spiromax but otherwise working well???
Been on Duoresp Spiromax for couple of weeks. Seems to be working well for breathlessness but I get headaches with it. Has anyone had this and - if so - how long did the headaches last for. I am loathe to try yet another inhaler. Thank you for any replies.

Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

Short of Breath
First of all, I'm not sure when I first had PMR symptoms, or if what I was feeling was something else. That being said, I noticed being short of breath upon exertion in Feb. 2019 and mild muscle weakness. Full blown PMR symptoms hit in Fall that year causing major problems with my upper arm and thigh

Has anyone experienced increasing breathlessness for months after Covid. I visited South Africa in February 2022 and caught Covid. I had an episode of acute bronchitis in October. Was hospitalised and treated with IV antibiotics. First time I have ever had a chest infection: I have had a cardio

Horrible taste in my mouth! 🤢
I have recently been ticked off by my asthma nurse as I wasn't using my brown inhaler and relying on using my blue reliver one. I'm now using my brown one correctly twice a day, and funnily enough have not had to use my blue one at all! The down side is I now have a horrible taste in my mouth. Has anyone

Change from Spireva to Trimbow
Just spent a week in hospital with chest infection. Discharged with a change of medication- Spiriva to Trimbow and a big dose of Prednisolone, much more than ever before. So far the Trimow doesn't seem to help and I am relying a lot on the Salbultimol reliever, which normally I wouldn't need. I wonder

coughing post trelogy inhaler?
hey all! I’ve been in trelogy for about 8 months now. I consistently have trouble holding my breathe after I take it, because it gives me a really strong impulse to cough. Usually I can fight it off for the 10 or so seconds but I do cough after taking it for a couple seconds. Am I inhaling too hard

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
I am constantly struggling with oral thrush on the roof of my mouth and now painfully in my throat. I take 2 puffs morning / 2 puffs night Fostair. I use a spacer, brush my teeth, rinse my mouth and it still keeps happening. Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing antibiotics) it’s not
