My mum's results - she's on 175 Levo and 15 T3. She already takes a D supplement, which I guess will need increasing. She stopped all biotin supplements 4 days before we did the test. She took no thyroid meds the morning of the test. This is the first time the test has come back showing low cortisol,

Brilliant doctor!
My daughter is 3 and recently the doctor gave us an inhaler with a spacer for her. The doctor was great at showing us how to use it and had my daughter and I singing ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ while the mask was on. This helped to distract her and made her start breathing naturally, and in good time

Breathless and wheezy
Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice for my husband who is nearly 89 and was diagnosed with emphysomatic fibrosis about two years ago. He has not been too bad until 6 months ago when when he started getting more breathless and wheezy. The Salamol inhaler doesn’t help at all, the Bradosyl helps

Montelukast
Can anyone on Montelukast tell me if it helps?. Finally managed to see my asthma nurse today & was prescribed it alongside Fostair. I’m confused if it’s a long term thing or a short term thing? I’m just really hoping it helps because I seem to be attached to my blue inhaler quiet a lot lately!

*What helps YOU cope with your Anxiety and Panic Attacks? As an individual. *
Only If you don't mind sharing... I am just curious what helps you all individually with your anxiety and or Panic Attacks? How do you cope? What do you do for yourself to help yourself feel better? Is there something you do for yourself on a daily basis to help cope? Do you take meds? Or Daily Vitamins

Inhaler training devices
Has anyone ever tried any training devices for inhalers - such as Trainhaler - for children with asthma? Do they help them retain correct technique long term?

Inhaler technique
Has anyone found any benefit from showing children online videos for improving inhaler technique? Do they tend to remember the correct technique or forget after a while? Any other suggestions for improving how well they retain technique?

Prescription charges for people over 60s
So with prescription charges, likely to go ahead in April, for people from 60 to 66 with no exemptions for people below 66, how do people feel about this, as it's likely certain lung conditions, won't be considered life threatening, so a lot of us will now have to pay for inhalers, and other medications

Chronic allergic asthma restricting breathing at all times.
Hello everyone, any exercise or activity such as a shower severely impairs my breathing. This has worsened considerably over the past yearI manage this at home by resting between activities and TaiChi breathing. Outside I can walk slowly when accompanied but tend to feel panicky when alone. In a shop

Recovery after chest infection
Hi I had a bacterial chest infection, started 3 weeks ago, had problems getting through to gp so infection took hold. I can honestly say I've never been so poorly in my life. After antibiotics from dr, the infection cleared last friday. However, I'm finding breathing difficult. My gp thinks I'm panicking
