Umbilical bleeding still waiting for op
I am still yet to be seen for my larcascopy to determine whether I have umbilical endrimitriotious, it’s been over a year now and I’m still just being left in the dark! Had my scan back in March and haven’t even heard from my gynaecologist still. Has anyone managed to get there operation via NHS?

No endometriosis after laproscopy. Please need advice 😔
Hi everyone, had a laproscopy yesterday after being told possibility of endometriosis, nothing was found and I'm feeling really down and disheartened. I saw a private consultant last year who was positive that's what it was and I was put on the NHS list. When I saw the NHS Dr, who is much younger than

I have been having great difficulty urinating and most recently it has become scary. I live in the middle of nowhere, a trip to a competent hospital is 2 hours and a good one with a urologist on-call is 3 hours (if we drive the Rover without regard for speed limits) So it can be very scary to have retention

How's It Going With Darolutamide?
I've been taking it for three weeks; no results yet, no side effects. I notice that on Posts from a year ago, two people were taking it, or were about to. They were Danielgreer (had been taking it for two months then) and wat380bjw (about to start). If you're still there, can you describe your experience

What to do when in remission?
PSA now at >0.1 and T > 10 after seven months after four trips to University of Heidelberg and no ADT besides Dutasteride and Finasteride what can be done to keep the demon from awakening? Provenge, Bicalutemide, and supplements. Supplements are hard to choose since there are so many and costly. Is

Mixed Results for Immunotherapy in Metastatic Prostate Cancer
"Ten of 35 (28.6%) patients responded to the combination of nivolumab (Opdivo) and ipilimumab (Yervoy). The activity fell short of the 40% threshold for a positive outcome but well above the historical response rate for immunotherapy in patients previously treated with docetaxel." Salvage Cryoablation
So..my UroOnc wants to pursue cryoablation after my failed radiotherapy (EBRT/LDR Brachytherapy ). I don't know yet if I can have focal only cryo or have to have whole prostate ablation. I know the ED outcome is bad, but has anyone else had this treatment and how are you doing afterward? Any other

AZ jab and GCA symptoms
Yesterday I had low level GCA symptoms - painful chewing, slight temple headache, and a little scalp soreness. These have gone today but I'm slightly worried as I'm due to have 2nd AZ jab on Sunday and fear that may bring back the symptoms. I'm currently on 11.5 mg pred and have enough stashed to

Protein in Urine should I be concerned?
I have high levels of protein in my Urine, I’ve felt like I have had a urine infection, but other than Protein and a sore back on my left side when I need to pee, there a no indications of an infection. I have Lupus panniculitis/profundus and my GP doesn’t appear interested. What can I do and should

Has anyone had Aquablation? Does ADT reduce prostate size enough to remove catheter?
I am one of those unlucky ones after biopsy I was not a candidate for RP due to my high GS 10. As a result my uro didn't even want to recommend surgery since the PCa was already out of the prostate. As a result I am still wearing the foley catheter. But now am considering surgery to open the channel

Neoadjuvant Androgen Deprivation Therapy in Prostate Cancer (with surgery)
Here is a link to a recent and fairly comprehensive multi-section set of articles on the use of neoadjuvant (i.e., treatment begun before the main treatment and continued alongside the main treatment) ADT. The articles are mainly about ADT and surgery, but also contain a small amount of information

Metastasis Directed Therapy (MDT) is here to stay for Oligometastatic Patients!!! Part (2) Cryo and Thermal Ablation
Greetings FPC Members, Metastasis Directed Therapy (MDT) is becoming a standard of treatment in oligometastatic patients. For my next items, I would like to see where we are using cryosurgery and thermal ablation (laser, radiofrequency or photodynamic) in MDT. Since my initial post, I found an interesting
