After a few years of heavy bleeds, now under control with the pill, this past few weeks I had symptoms of stabbing pain (nearly fainted twice) in my pelvis and a very achy back I went for a private scan. NHS so busy atm and I was torturing myself. So the sonographer report states 2 possible causes. Degenerating leiomyoma or cystic endosalpingiosis? No blood supply to it. Its located at the top fundus inside of my uterus. GP truly believes it's not anything malignant but red flagged me to Gynae at the hospital who rang me 2 days later with an appointment this Weds 21st. I'm in a total panic...

I should say the cyst is part fluid part mass and is 7.7cms x 5.4cms 😪
When I had my endo surgery years ago they found a salpingiosis of my one Fallopian tube it was severely twisted and bunged up with lesions my surgery was hours as he tried to fix this tube to allow me good fertility. I’m sure it’s back as I get those stabbing accute pains again. I just suggest a good surgeon who really knows how to remove endo but keep your reproductive parts intact if you are trying to conceive at all. Interesting enough a dye test 4 months prior shower clear tubes so it can change very fast. The surgery itself was a breeze, outpatient, and back to work in a week after just taking it easy awhile.
Thank you so much for the reply. I'm 41 and have 4 children, also my husband has had a vasectomy so I'm very much done with having babies, I'm very lucky. Theres such little info on this especially if theres a cyst involved. I'm meeting with the consultant tomorrow so hoping they put me at ease with the whole situation.
