What is a "normal" max SUV on PSMA-Pet scan?
I'm trying to learn more about PSMA Pet scans and max/mean SUV uptake in the prostate. For those of you who have done a PSMA-PET scan and are high gleason score (8-10), can you share what your max SUV of the prostate was in your scan? My husbands prostate had a max SUV of only 7.5 and I'm trying to figure

Just getting started
Started my journey with a PSA of 13.7 in August of 2022. October brought the discovery of a lesion on the MRI scan. Later came the guided Biopsy with 12/15 cores positive with Stage 9 PC. Lastly, we had a PSMA PET scan which showed no spread outside the prostate. Ended up at MRiT3N0 M0 staging.

Liquid Biopsy
I have a question regarding follow up testing after definitive treatment with radiation and while still on hormone therapy. As I understand it, the hormone therapy will skew both the psa test and also to some degree pet scans. Therefore, I'm wondering if a liquid biopsy that tests for circulating tumor

Could the schwannomas on my prostate be mistaken for cancer on various scans?
I have schwannomas on my Prostate gland, [Schwannomatosis NF3], could they be 'diagnosed' as "Prostate Cancer" Adenocarcinoma grade 7, I have had irregular urinary flow since the start of the schwannomas in early 2020?

Bone met biopsy = PSMA-POSITIVE, PSA-NEGATIVE TUMOR
What are the implications for treatment and more importantly monitoring progress of PSA-NEGATIVE metastases? Coping with a Vestibular Disorder

Hi, I just had a flexible cystoscopy today for the first time and all the leaflets and videos and - I want to say - propaganda say that it might hurt men, but that women it was just 'discomfort'. Some of them don't even admit that. Well THEY LIED! At least for me. From the very first touch I about leapt

Phase 2 EXTEND randomised trial finds adding metastasis directed therapy with radiation to intermittent hormone therapy improves outcomes.
Howard Sandler, MD, Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, California, and president-elect of ASTRO, noted that the current study shows a substantial delay in time to progression with MDT. “I was surprised pleasantly with the magnitude of the effect,” Dr Sandler

Generic Gabapentin
Hello. I guess this has been asked many times but I'm new so would appreciate any views. I had built up to take 300mg of Neurontin at 4 weeks and then requested a repeat prescription and agreement from my NHS GP to increase the dose to 600mg. The Neurontin was definitely assisting but not completely
