I have been advised to take AA due to being diagnosed with
osteopenia
in the lumbar spine and osteoporosis in one hip. I took it for a year when I was on steroid treatment but came off of it 9 months ago.

Is back pain normal in osteoporosis?
I was diagnosed with
osteopenia
and it was suggested that I supplement with calcium to keep active. Still had the back pain and the calcium/magnesium supplement gave me diarrhoea, I was also taking VitD3 as I have MS and had found out the previous year that I was severely deficient in this.

Failed visit to Rheumatologist
Went to the dr yesterday to discuss my osteoporosis and
osteopenia
diagnosis in right and left hip. He told me since my numbers are under 3 not to worry (2.8 currently). He told me to just exercise and eat healthy. Which for the last 15 years I have been doing.

Looking for some articles/research that refutes Big Pharma’s take on osteoporosis?
The history behind
Osteopenia
and bone mineral loss is all based on a marketing plan concocted by Merck. They created the boards who arbitrarily came up with the levels of mineral density. Those have never been causal in actual fractures!

To take or not to take!!
So in
Osteopenia
markings. Risk factors to take into account I have gone through the menopause and have RA which I am told is added to the T score so because of this I went into Red instead of Amber. I have never had a Vit D blood test - I have just requested one.

Should I be concerned about low TSH?
I am cautious as I had atrial fibrillation and
osteopenia
, both of which seem to be linked to suppressed TSH. Have not had AF since reducing my thyroid replacement doses. My last TSH test via GP in December 2018 was TSH 0.2 (mU/L 0.2 - 4.5) GP has not raised any concerns over this. Thanks.

Hello from week 4 - can I stay here, please?!
I have
osteopenia
(hence taking up C25k). I'm worried that I might be damaging my bones if I keep pushing on with longer and longer runs. Is it ok to stick at week 4 for a while - a month, say - or should I just power on with the programme and get on with week 5?

Adcal and blood test monitoring
The main issue is my right hip but other areas classed as
osteopenia
. I completed steroid treatment for PMR but due to this and menopause my bone density has been affected. I took Alendronic Acid for a year and stopped it in June 2018.

Dexa scan results - osteopenia
GP called to say I have
Osteopenia
and prescribed AA which I have so far not taken due to what I have read about the side effects and I have had gastritis and pancreatitis and don't fancy waking that beast! I am taking Ad-cal D3 and have ordered K2 vitamins and take magnesium.
