I am just posting this in the hope that someone may have had similiar issues. Since starting on HRT patch last year I have had unusual breathlessness <not Asthma like but more of a weakness with dizziness>. The symptoms are not there all the time. But when they do occur it lasts for a few days. They seem to have reduced the no of hot flushes. Several tests on my heart and bloods have all come back clear. My GP is at a loss.
Would really appreciate it if someone could let me know if they have had similiar with the HRT patch. The main reason for me been on it, is due to poor bone density and now in Osteopenia.
Happy to give my email address if someone wants to give a private reply. With warm wishes to all members on this great forum...

I’m sorry I can’t help you with this. I’d be interested to know what others think though as I’m at that stage of life & not had her treatment/thinking about it.
Would not be better taking a high dose vitamin d with k2 mk7 this would probably be better than any artificial stuff , in the other side come off the medication fir a couple of months and see how u go , is there different brands of hrt ? Can I swap ?
Hi, HOW ARE YOU NOW? Ive been on hrt patches of estrogen for about 9 months. I get breathlessness, total fatigue when it is hard to walk across the room without feeling like conking out, raspy throat and much more despite using them. I am sure it is to do with the hormones. Lets look at this together?
Originally, I was on HRT pills but after a hysterectomy the GP put me on patches, but I couldn't tolerate them at all, so I went cold turkey. But I have supplemented with VitD3, VitK2 mk7 and magnesium citrate in order to maintain bone health. I joined a Facebook group that had done the leg work in respect of how to supplement and it definitely helped me. But we're all different and your asthma nurse or doctor should be recommending suitable alternative options to treat the menopause.
