Has anyone been on Orgovyx for more than a year? Can Orgovyx be used with abi/pred? Thanks

Switching from Lupron to Orgovyx due to bad reaction to Lupron. 18 months into Firmagon/ Eligard/Lupron and Abiraterone. PI for Orgovyx says loading dose of 3 pills. One pharmacist and one doctor said no need to take loading dose. Another pharmacist said loading dose is necessary.

I changing Firmagon (after 19 shots/months) to Orgovyx next month.Question to Orgovyx users: Have you ever forgot to take a pill?If so did you feel anything different?

Has anyone got slight headaches from this and bladder infections thanks onit a year now instead of firmagon

MO agreed to stop Orgovyx and Prednisone and monitor PSA monthly. I am hopeful that stopping daily prednisone taken since August 2021 will drop some side effects. If testosterone recovers somewhat after 11 month on Orgovyx then the PSA - side effect balance begins.

I asked my NHS consultant whether this time around I could have Orgovyx instead of the above drugs. I know Orgovyx has recently been approved by NICE so an alternative [u]at last[/u] to Lupron.

Chat GPT tells me that 120mg of Orgovyx daily is sufficient as long as I'm not taking any P-gp or CYP3a inducers--I'm not. So, I have dueling oncologists. The Orgovyx and Erleada websites are no help. Can anyone shed more light on the subject?

Did you start Orgovyx after Firmagon injection or 28 days after?Did you start with 3 pills or one?

How long should you take Orgovyx if you have a single gland metastasis in the pelvis after prostate surgery and after having received radiation treatment?

Also, will be switching from Eligard to Orgovyx, has anyone else taken this combination and can the Orgovyx be taken at the same time as the abiraterone? Thanks guys.

I’m thinking of asking to switch to Orgovyx due to its better safety profile and wondering if anyone has done that? Is that a good idea? Are there problems with making that switch and can Orgovyx be taken with Zytiga and prednisone? I highly value this forum and appreciate your comments.

Question on expiration dates on my Orgovyx. Due to getting free samples from my urologist friend some of my purchased Orgovyx show expiration date of 3/25, at which time I will have 2 bottles left. I would have enough for April and May 2025 yet but they would be expired according to the label.

during the treatment per my decipher score recommendation of 0.63...Day after RT(8/5/2024)PSA WAS 0.009.Now 5 months later still on orgovyx PSA has been at 0.006 x 2 draws..testost has been consistant at 7..Should i continue orgovyx?

When does an Oncologist in these days prescribe Orgovyx and will he let you do it instead of Lupron from the start. Thank you. I don't have any trouble getting it but others seem to have to have undergone treatments before they ever can get it.

I have started nubeqa & orgovyx & need to start a statin too. These posts are very helpful especially the pitavastatin possible anti-cancer effect but posts seem to be 2-4 years ago. Does anyone have any update to share on the subject? Thanks.

Did triplet therapy. 7 rds of chemo ..Nubeqa and Orgovyx . Slow decline to .08 nadr as of 1-8 -25. About 2 months ago my liver enzymes started to spike and my oncologist somehow missed the rise until my Alt was 790 and Ast was 820.
