Hydrosalpinx in remaining tube but surgery is not an option
My endo consultant rightly so won’t take the risk of
organ
damage
to remove it and said to go ahead with ivf to see if it works. Has anyone had success with ivf and hydrosalpinx and does anyone know of any other ways to clip my tube without a laparoscopy? I’m at a loss.

T-cells from recovered COVID-19 patients show promise to protect vulnerable patients from infection.
T-cells taken from the blood of people who recovered from a COVID-19 infection can be successfully multiplied in the lab and maintain the ability to effectively target proteins that are key to the virus's function, according to a new study published Oct. 26 in Blood. "We found that many people who recover

Feeling Frustrated and a little worried so having a sound off
I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to find out what to do if my pharmacy cannot secure a supply of medication which is fundamental to my treatment of Myasthenia, not the AF, although the lack of treatment may affect my hear. The med is Mycophenolate mofetil which is an immune suppressant, most usually

How Chronic Illness Patients Can Cope with Seasonal Affective Disorder and Depression During COVID-19
The immune system might overreact to fight COVID-19, producing a harmful inflammatory response that may cause more tissue and
organ
damage
than the virus itself.

The great Pred debate
Yes we all want to come off them and yes Rhumi's are totally focused on getting us off them. However, it is my understanding that people who've had an organ transplant will be on Pred for life. Sooo, if you have a kernackered auto immune system, maybe you'll be on Preds for life. If Rhumi could come

Boosting immune system a potential treatment strategy for COVID-19.
A popular theory has it that the immune system gets so revved up fighting the virus that, after several days, it produces a so-called cytokine storm that results in potentially fatal

A Promising Drug for the Treatment of Severe Lung Inflammation in COVID-19 Patients.
Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine are the first sites in the nation to begin evaluating an investigational drug in two separate, FDA-approved trials: one to treat mild-to-moderate cases of COVID-19 and the other to treat severely ill COVID-19 patients. They are hopeful

Australian research team will begin implementing 1st CT using IV zinc for severely ill covid-19 patients.
My assumption knowing the background of one of the PIs is that this CT is probably going to focus on
organ
damage
induced by the lack of oxygen as the severely ill patient drowns in their own fluid or from the cytokine storm problem.

UK government's 12 week shielding group.
Everyday there is people asking "I have ,x,y,z conditions, should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" or "I have not received a letter from government, but should I be shielding for 12 weeks?" The following is the list of conditions where patients should have received the "12 weeks shielding/isolation" letter

Lymphoedema and Covid19

In extremely vulnerable group but don't understand why

Instructions are not to leave home, even for food and meds, and stay away from others indoors. There is a list of
